"Great hotel! "

"This was the nastiest hotel that I’ve ever seen. Inside the hotel wreaks of marijuana and stale cigarettes. Even the non smoking room stunk like cigarettes. I got a sore throat from breathing the smoky air. The walls were filthy. There was an ink pen in the toilet paper instead of a roller. The front desk staff, when present were very flat and unfriendly. There was no breakfast as offered. The vending machines don’t work and the ice machines are duct taped together. Overall, I’d suggest that you find somewhere else to stay."

"I was not impressed at all. Hotel was run down and needing updating. When I walked in, I saw the desk clerk sitting in the back, but she never acknowledged me. I had to say something to her after several minutes. The breakfast didn't have much except waffles, the coffee was so bad we had to stop somewhere else for coffee. I definitely would not stay here again."

"Office and room smelled of weed. Shower and sink fixtures loose..moving around. When the light was on in the bathroom the fan made an extremely loud noise. Could barely turn around in there. Three of us but only 2 towels. Some of the pictures online were false advertising. The person upstairs paced the floor most of the night . No sleep. Not recommended for any stay. "

"The room was clean enough.But smell like the bottom of a ash tray. The refrigerator smelled of marijuana and I had placed a gatorade in the refrigerator and the next morning, when I opened the gatorade, it smelled of pot. When I turned in my key, the next morning, I asked the desk person if the rooms were, it's a big smoke free and she said, yes. That is when I shared how horrible the room smelled. "

"The room had a surface level clean. There were many areas that were not deep cleaned. The property has been remodeled with certain areas remaining dirty and outdated. The staff member that checked us is was incredibly rude. She approached the desk on her personal phone with headphones in. Once she finally acknowledged us I gave her my name and began spelling it for clarification. She promptly cut me off and said that I was “incredibly insulting” for spelling it for her. She began to lecture me thereafter. I had to interrupt her and ask her to finish checking me in. I spoke to the general manager the next day. She wasn’t dismissive but there was only a generic apology. Nothing more. We have five trips to Birmingham in the next three months. We will NOT be back."
