First room had an issue with the toilet running continuously and poor cleaning so we were given a second. Second also had a toilet issue, this time with the floater, though we found a way around it. Faucet dripped, musty AC, and a taped lamp, but since we were mostly out and about rather than in the room we made do. Definitely not like the La Quintas near home

Hotel seemed new or maybe just updated recently. Has a good variety of breakfast items. Room was nice but our room could have been a little cleaner. Not sure that anyone had stayed there recently based how hot it was when we checked into our room. Took a while to cool down, but finally caught up.
Area outside was smelly (garbage/dog poop smell).
Bar nearby was loud on Friday night when we checked in. Asked for a room on opposite side and the front desk person obliged and upgraded us to a larger room.

Wife & i stayed here 25 years ago for 2 nights before our honeymoon. So we went back for our 25 year anniversary just to chill & relax. We had a great time & enjoyed the gold room. Went to Gilligans for a nice dinner on the way there. Spent some time at fort hunter & wildwood park. Very nice getaway & we plan on going back to inn at the dove for our 50 year anniversary.
