Hotel Lumière an der Messe by ANS

"The hotel is situated close to the central railway station and has tram stops just around the corner. The room was fine but had an open-plan bedroom/bathroom, which might not appeal to some people if they were sharing. The toilet had its own cubicle, however. The hotel had a certain charm to it, though it would benefit from an upgrade of the whole property. I used the television a couple of times, but the listed channels on the plastic card by the TV set did not correspond to the channels on the handset to any great degree. Breakfast was good and available from 0630-handy if you have an early train or flight to catch. What I liked most about the room was the air conditioning, as it worked well in the late-summer heat and was easy to use. The staff always said hello and were available if you had a query. The hotel directory is found via a QR code, like in many hotels nowadays, but I would have preferred an in-room paper version. The advertised Asian restaurant was not open during my stay but looked as if it was going to be up and running soon. A good hotel to rest your head but not one for those travellers seeking loads of in-house amenities."

"Great stay and very convenient to both the Ubahn station and the tram. There’s a Rewe grocery store and several restaurants right there next to the hotel. Very quiet and the staff was super helpful."

"Lovely new hotel, we have the junior suite skyline with views of the city, lovely modern trendy room with a coffee machine. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was still a lovely stay. The price was very good for what you get. Parking garage underneath hotel was very tight getting in but once in was fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Frankfurt, easy access to city via train short walk away."

"Well located hotel. Neighborhood is OK but a few abandoned buildings right around the hotel. There was an issue with the elevators. 2 out 3 were out of service so the wait was sometimes long and the elevator was crowded. Nice, large and functional rooms. Breakfast was excellent."
