I’m not sure it would be like this in the summertime when the lake is busy. But it sure was perfect this time. It was so tiny and adorable. Smaller than expected but perfect for 2 people.Check in was a little weird/complicated. We were given wrong door code and office was then closed so we couldn’t reach anyone. It was that bad!! The bed was intolerably hard. After one night, I had to relocate to another unit. Also, this is the first place I have ever stayed where there was no communication about arrival 24 hours before my stay. I had to write the host twice to get a reply. Castaway is expectedly small with a wonderful view right on the water.
