Located on the ground floor, it has an independent entrance, a terrace with a wooden deck for outside dining overlooking the cultivated fields. The dining-living room has a fireplace and a table for 6/8 people. The kitchen is spacious and modern, with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, gas oven. Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, sink and travertine cladding, fine wood furniture and sandblasted glass elements. Central heating. The outdoor area is equipped with a barbecue, relaxation chairs and umbrellas; an outdoor shower and stone bath are available for guests. In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, on the edge of Brenna, a village 10 km from Siena, Villa Amedeo is a typical rustic farmhouse dating back to the 1400s consisting of 6 apartments of different surfaces that each host from 2 to 8 people. Depending on the needs, guests can choose to rent individual apartments (ideal for couples or families), a floor with multiple apartments (for families or friends who want to share a kitchen and living room), or the whole villa (20 beds, for ceremonies or special occasions). The villa overlooks the cultivated fields and orchards surrounding Brenna. The proximity of the village church allows you to organize special events all year round and to take advantage of cultural, recreational and gastronomic initiatives out of season, such as the wine / grape harvest circuit, the theatrical and concert seasons, cycling and horse riding. Outside, a furnished main courtyard and a more intimate patio at the rear of the villa are available for guests to have breakfast and dinner outside. Internally, each apartment consists of one or two double bedrooms, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower or bathtub with a minimal and linear design. The restoration of the structure has enhanced the existing architectural features, the exposed stone facade, the old terracotta floors and ceilings with exposed beams. The project highlighted the light, the walls in warm colors and architectural solutions that contribute to making each room unique with a style that enhances the contrast between old and new. The internal spaces are personalized and revisited in a modern key: the owners, originating in the area but travelers for passion and profession, have "brought back" from the various corners of the world objects and pieces of furniture that complement the existing ones. The bedrooms, furnished with silks and enveloping and colored cottons add intimacy to the wooden beds, some of which canopied, and to the furniture with a slightly oriental touch. A particular intervention catches the eye in the bathrooms with natural shades: they are the sinks carved into the stone. Thick, large, made from whole and very heavy basaltic stone blocks. The living spaces, different in each apartment in shape and size, are always in open dialogue with the outside and usually divided into a dining area and a relaxation area. The staff and owner here are also exceptional; sincerely caring and interested in you enjoying your stay. We used a bus service into Rosia, Sovicille and Siena city at first and the transport systems are dependable; we then rented a car which is recommended, and everything in southern Tuscany is close, the beaches are near Grosseto city and are only an hour away. The Villa was beautiful, exactly like the photos; and the big surprise was the beautiful people of the Brenna-Sovicille community, they made us feel at home and this was an exceptional safe and pleasant community. Also; only 100 meters away is the best Italian Restaurant in a beautiful setting. The owners there are truly great folks, very special and the food is incredible; excellent!! Es ist ein besonderes Erlebnis, in diesem süßen Ort Urlaub zu machen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man braucht - sogar eine Außenbadewanne und eine Außendusche mit warmem Wasser. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Wir hatten die Unterkunft für 3 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder gebucht, es waren aber nur 4 Betten bezogen, als wir ankamen. Der Housekeeper hat schnell noch ein Klappbett geholt und hergerichtet. Wir haben innerhalb kürzester Zeit die Buchungsbestätigung nicht nur über die Vermittlung sondern auch vom Vermieter erhalten. Die Unterkunft war leicht zu finden und es waren fast immer Parkplätze direkt vor der Türe frei. Vormittags kommt ein mobiler Brotverkäufer (besser nicht darauf verlassen, da er auch mal erst gegen 12 Uhr da war) bei dem man entspannt Brot für das Frühstück kaufen kann. Das Dorf in dem sich die Unterkunft befindet ist sehr ruhig und freundlich. Eine Minute entfernt (zu Fuß) gibt es ein Restaurant, welches ausgezeichnete Speisen anbietet. Dort empfiehlt es sich jedoch zu reservieren. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 1 Stunde am Strand. Alles in allem war der Urlaub in Brenna in der Villa Amedeo ein wunderbares Erlebnis und kann nur weiterempfohlen werden. Sogar eine spontane Verlängerung war ohne Probleme möglich. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Beeindruckend ist die Ruhe ringsum. Auch große Hitze ist gut auszuhalten, da man schnell zum Baden an der Merse ist.
