« Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was bigger the we thought it would be. Lovely and clean with lots of outside space. Nice big new tv (we could get the dvd to work, need a different lead) but that was find as the weather was lovely so dint watch too much tv. »

« L’annonce n’est pas conforme avec la réalité pour plusieurs raisons: -ce logement n’est pas un chalet mais un préfabriqué voire un mobile home. - pas de machine à laver ni de sèche linge. -pas de salle jeux notamment avec billard, -pas 2 salles de bain ( 1 seule + 1 avec un WC et un lavabo) -pas de lit King size (2mx2) -Le propriétaire s est permis de rentrer en notre absence sans nous en informer ni avant, ni pendant ni après . -propreté plus que douteuse! « We stayed for a week at this lovely cosy (but really large) log cabin. The owner was so accommodating and quick to respond to a query I had prior to staying, and gave us lots of suggestions about the beautiful local area. The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, had everything we needed, was really warm after a day out hiking and was just so spacious for our family of five. The three bathrooms were much appreciated, it was nice to have a bath after being out in the Scottish weather all...

« Views are beautiful, house is comfortable but a little tired. The location and peace and quiet are fabulous, nearest supermarket is 50 minutes drive so come prepared. Perhaps some comfy chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view. »

« We stayed at Cockleshell Lodge for 10 days in November and had a fabulous time. The lodge is right on the waters edge and we would have paid for the view alone. It is absolutely stunning. There are dog walks straight from the lodge and no need to get the car ut all around the Ballimore Estate and we met the "Lady of the House" who told us some interesting facts about the estate. « Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay. »

« It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again »

« Endroit vraiment magnifique de calme et d’une ambiance intemporelle située sur le rivage de Holy Loch. Tout est parfait, propre, joli, typique, spacieux et fonctionnel. L’animation quotidienne est l’amarrage du bateau Ferry sans bruit au bout de la propriété . La météo beaucoup moins ingrate que dans les montagnes plus au nord. Bon point de départ pour des excursions avec une voiture. Situation à 10km de Dunoon. Magnifique, à recommander ! »
