"I booked the apartment room for one night. I was traveling by myself and had a long journey that day. Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. She showed me my booking that she had printed out with BIG BLACK BOLD letters across the top confirming the room my type. So I am unsure how such an 'error' may have occurred. The location is perfect for nature lovers and those wanting a quiet escape. It is a 20 minute walk from Middelfart and 30 minute walk from Middelfart train station, which is a bit of a way but doable and worth it.
From the hotel we saw porpoises deer and a variety of birds. Superb views of the little belt and the two bridges from breakfast and dinner."

Book a table for dinner as early as possible last time I could book a seat when I checked in, now it was fully booked 😭

"The staff was great, they were kind and responsive. The cabin was cute and near a nice walking path and a field of horses. That being said, the old mattresses desperately need replacing. My mattress was so sketchy and stained that I decided to move to the pull out couch but that had black mold on it. There was no hot water, so a shower was not an option. I guess if you are a hard core camper, it wont bother you? It was generally unpleasant."
