Summary:  
This beautiful home in West Lydford is spacious, stylish, and finished to a high standard throughout. The ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen diner, utility room, separate dining area, and a cosy living room with smart TV. Upstairs are four elegant bedrooms: a super king, two kings, and a double. One has an ensuite, plus a family bathroom. Outside, relax in the sun-trap garden with seating, BBQ, and fire pit. Private parking makes this the perfect countryside retreat.  
  
The Space:  
This beautiful 4-bedroom holiday home in West Lydford is the perfect blend of character, comfort, and style. Newly built, but from traditional local stone, and finished to a high standard throughout, the house offers both warmth and elegance, making it ideal for families, friends, or groups looking to relax in Somerset’s peaceful countryside.  
  
Step inside and you are greeted by a welcoming hallway with parquet flooring and a wood burner, setting the tone for the charm that flows throughout the property. Here you’ll also find an expandable dining table, allowing the space to double up as a formal dining room for dinner parties or gatherings. A separate utility room adds practicality.  
  
Next door, the spacious kitchen is fitted with quality appliances including a range cooker and large fridge, as well as a smaller dining area for relaxed meals. This leads through to the inviting living room, furnished with a huge corner sofa, smart TV, and even a piano – the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. A convenient downstairs WC completes the ground floor.

The village itself has a friendly feel, with lovely country walks available right from the doorstep, making it ideal for those who enjoy fresh air, rambling, and soaking in the tranquil landscapes of Somerset.  
  
Just a short drive away is the mystical town of Glastonbury, with its iconic Tor, Abbey ruins, and quirky independent shops. This makes for a wonderful day out, whether you’re climbing for panoramic views, browsing the High Street’s eclectic mix of stores, or learning about the area’s fascinating history and legends. The famous Glastonbury Festival in Pilton is only 10-15 minutes drive away.  
  
Nearby Wells, England’s smallest city, is equally rewarding to visit, boasting the magnificent Wells Cathedral and the atmospheric Bishop’s Palace with its moat and gardens. You'll also find excellent markets here.
