THE UNIT: Welcome home to Silver Creek unit 2209, your home away from home and a charming place to spend your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway! This studio is on the second floor, sleeps six people, and is in Silver Creek Lodge, home of the legendary night skiing, 3 of the best terrain parks, and the Coca-Cola Tube Park. When you stay in Silver Creek, you’ll enjoy shorter lift lines, later mid-week rope drops, and a complimentary shuttle to and from the main mountain! Silver Creek 2209 features a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal. Within the cozy space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, range, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. There is a kitchen island, with seating for four people, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a delicious meal. Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the various dining options right in the building: 1) the Locker Room, where you can eat, drink, watch sports, play games, and enjoy live music during certain nights and 2) the Bear’s Den, featuring lunch and dinner options that include wood-fired oven pizzas, burgers, and more. Please note the Bear’s Den is only open during the ski season and the Locker Room has limited open hours during the summer season. Wake up refreshed each morning in the queen bed which features ample storage underneath, or enjoy the full IKEA sectional sofa where you can cozy up next to the electric fireplace during cold nights. For additional sleeping capacity, the property also features mini twin bunk beds (75” L x 30” W) with privacy curtains and storage drawers underneath. Your housekeeping package includes clean linens (flat sheets and pillowcases) plus an additional setup for the sleeper sofa, bathroom linens (towel and washcloths for each person the condo has the capacity to sleep), a bathmat, a dish towel, toilet paper, trash bags, bar soap, liquid dishwashing soap (for hand-washing dishes), and powdered dishwasher detergent (for the dishwashing machine). THE RESORT: At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy. ● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few. ● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. PETS: While we absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you, unfortunately, the building is not pet-friendly, so we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the previous Renter has departed by 11:00 AM and the housekeeping team is not short-staffed. We would have left if we had somewhere else to go. There was a slice of sandwich cheese made up in the bed. Along with a hair scrunchy that had hair entangled in it. It was pretty nasty, along with a terrible smell, probably coming from the cheese. It could be a great spot unfortunately not for us. ##### Josh K. It was a ski out to the smaller Silver Creek lifts, which had night skiing, so we always ended our long day of skiing able to walk in to bed. It was an easy shuttle ride over to the village/main lifts. We traveled with 5 in our family, with all 3 kids between the ages of 15-21\. We knew if would be a tight fit, as it's a smaller condo, but we were really only there to sleep, and this condo makes excellent use of space. We had lots of fun family togetherness. We came to Snowshoe to enjoy an event. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes which is wonderful so we didn’t have to deal with parking at the main lodge. The shower was hot and the mattress was wonderful. The entire place was very clean and had a stocked kitchen for anything you needed. We were 10 minutes from the main lodge. The owners communicate with you and make everything effortless. The next time we’re in snowshoe, we will definitely stay here again. ##### Donna D. The room was small (clearly described in the description) but not too small for the 3 of us. My daughter absolutely loved the bunks (she used both). The LED lights and iPad holder were a hit. My favorite feature was the amazing water pressure and hot water in the shower following a long day of skiing! The studio contained everything we needed to prepare our meals and had plenty of linens. There was a small hiccup with the dishwasher that turned out to be a tripped breaker. Tim promptly responded to all messages and was great to work with! Thanks for a great weekend! ##### Erin J.
