Nice place to stay

Clean house and a well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend the staying at the Bellinger Cabin.

Nice and quiet

We enjoyed our short stay. There are deer wandering by. Lots of board games for the kids to choose from. It was clean, stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The beds are comfortable. Overall very pleasant place to stay.

Tranquil setting!

Very clean and situated in the tall pines about 10 minutes North of Sisters. Good internet, and nice deck were a plus too.

Getaway

The home was a great fit and we had everything we needed. It was close to town which was perfect for us. The neighbor's dogs barked a lot but other than that it was a great getaway.

Rustic Beauty! Great stay!

Convoyed here (3 generations) from BC and WA for a family reunion at Crooked River Ranch. Really lovely vrbo—great spaces for lots to hangout. Enjoyed the bbq and deck! Wonderful stay, sharing lots of laughs, fun, food, fellowship and family. 5 star recommendation! Beautiful town of Sisters. Loved it here. Lots to see and do! Would definitely stay here again! Gateway in the wood

We stayed 3 nights in this cabin, we really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the house. We had the chance to see deers in the gardens. The house is in a quite area so you can really relax and unwind.

Quiet, Wooded Setting

This was the perfect location for us. It is in a quiet wooded area, away from the hustle & bustle of Sisters, yet close enough to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer. The house had plenty of space for our family of 5, as well as a good selection of toys, games, & puzzles for all ages. Would definitely stay there again!

Cozy and out of the way

We had a great time on this cabin. The house itself was very confortable and had lots of space. We enjoyed specially the various board games and toys that were available. The location is a bit secluded from Sisters, but not so much as to be a hassle or need a long drive. It was perfect for our family.

Great stay!

The cabin was within 30 minutes of Hoodoo ski area which was perfect! The place was as advertised, clean and plenty of amenities. Great communication with the hostess! We had an incident with my son breaking something and upon talking it over with the hostess, she was very understanding which I appreciated! We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy Central Oregon Home

This home is in a nicely wooded area outside Sisters. It is well-furnished and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need for cooking. Pleasantly decorated. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the back deck. Lovely spot.

Christmas celebration

Great value and location but found bed bugs

I spent Christmas with my family and the property has everything you need for cooking, baking etc. Great location in the woods (we even saw deer in the surroundings of the cabin ) however we found bed bugs in one of the beds. Despite getting all sheets, linens and even the pillows washed in hot water but there’s seems that the bugs still there, because they bitten my brother in-law again.

A retreat for sisters

Our stay in Sisters was a delightful retreat. Our temporary home was in a good location and was neat and tidy inside. We enjoyed watching the 5 deer on our first night while having dinner. The deck was a lovely place to be with a morning cup of coffee. However, these are some comments on aspects that might be considered for the future as an VRBO: ~We were unable to access WiFi with the information supplied ~The exterior has been neglected and shows signs of dry rot. The railing from the deck to ground is loose and not secure. ~There was no shampoo/conditioner in the main bathroom shower. ~Some kleenex would be nice (yep, we have allergies with runny noses). ~The lockbox for the key took 4 times before it would open to retrieve the key and the same number of times to replace the key at check out time.

Nice Place, Great Hostess, Good Time

Huge master bedroom; nice place all the way around. Was concerned by prior posting about bedbugs but owner reassured me the problem was fully resolved as soon as she learned of it - and YES, I saw no evidence of it whatsoever. In fact, the entire week I was there I saw a total of 1 beetle and 1 fly in the house. TV is missing "normal" cable stations but has multiple apps for specific networks and shows. WiFi and internet worked well; cell phone showed down to 1 bar at 1 point but never quit working for me, so no harm and it often had 2-3 bars inside the house. Nearest neighbor house must be 200 yards or more away so great privacy and quiet. Also if you are hard of hearing, any noise you make won't bother anyone else. Great directions - found the house on first try, in the dark, never having been there before. Kitchen has all the appliances and utensils I could want. Was a bit shy on spices, so bring your own, but otherwise no issues. Would definitely stay there again. Good time from a very accommodating hostess.

Great Stay in Sisters

Just returned home after a great stay at this property in Sisters. There were just two of us, so this spacious property provided us with plenty of room. The property was extremely clean and well stocked. There were dishes, towels, and bedding available for up to 12 individuals; however I would think the property would be most comfortable for 6 adults and 2 or 3 children. The mattresses were comfortable and there was a variety of pillows available. We prepared all but one of our meals on site, with one exception. All of the cookware, blenders, toasters, colanders, cooking utensils we needed were provided. An icemaker in the frig would have been nice, but ice cube trays were provided. Also a few more wine glasses could be handy, but we just handwashed our glasses after each use. (Every short-term rental I've encountered had wine glass shortages, LOL). The water quality and pressure was good. As described the property is about 4 or 5 miles outside of Sisters, so we were careful with our meal planning, shopping and exploring The area where this home is located is up on quiet ridge above the Whychus Creek (previously known as Squaw Creek). As other have stated the there is a nice circular walk you can take from the home that provides nice views. For those who like a longer walk, there is a path going down to Whychus Creek from Mountain View Drive (marked by two large stones leaning against each other), but we didn't have the opportunity to explore this path.

Quiet Getaway

The house is in a very quiet development with little or no car traffic. The house itself was very clean, and plenty spacious to house 2 adults and 4 kids. Large dining room table and well-apportioned kitchen (nothing worse than having only 4 plates and bowls...). The new beds were extremely comfortable in all rooms. A pair of tables with chairs for the deck are a nice addition as well. The house is not fancy, but is comfortable. We arrived with two 8-yr olds and two 12-yr olds in tow. They had a good time running around on the property and quickly found the tree house (which needs to have the ladder rungs replaced soon!). I do wish the property had a view of the beautiful mountains to the east. As it is, the 2nd growth Ponderosa trees block the view. Similarly, there is a fantastic gorge at the south end of the street that would make for a lovely walk if it wasn't posted with 'no trespassing' signs. We did end up being able to walk down the road to the east for a couple miles in the evenings with the kids. There are great views out that way. Who would like this place: a group that wants a reasonably priced, clean, quiet and reliable place to stay when visiting the Sisters area that either doesn't mind driving/biking to all your destinations or somebody that doesn't need to have sweeping vistas and hiking/walking trails right nearby. Young kids will find enough on the fenced-in 2-acre wooded lot to entertain themselves (do need to repair that tree house though!) without wandering off too far. If a 10-15 minute drive to town is okay with you, then this is a good solution.
