The service was outstanding, the rooms extravagantly beautiful. We (thankfully) booked transportation from the airport through the Sultania. The airport was a zoo; it would have been very difficult to obtain a taxi. The cost was 40 euros total for 4 people; and worth every cent. This hotel is within walking distance to most of the major attractions. I suggest obtaining a guide. The hotel managed this for us also; and we were very pleased. Our guide, Sema Uysal, was also outstanding. We highly recommend her. On our last night the 3 women in our group wanted to go to a traditional historic Turkish bath. Our hotel managed to arrange this for us; but then went above and beyond by insisting that one of their staff meet us afterwards at 10pm and escort us back to the hotel, at no charge. As I said before the service was truly outstanding .

Located in the heart of the old city Istanbul, between Sirkeci and Sultanahmet. The hotel offers 42 rooms dedicated to a …More
This hotel is in a really good location to explore the old part of Istanbul. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my room smelt of stale smoke and the bathroom smelt a bit too. The toilet was not 100% clean either.
You get more than expected at this hotel !!...worth every penny
Close to everything you need to see in old historical part of the city
Extremely friendly staff.... Enver, Roberto, Mehmet, Umutt...amazing guys !!...if you are a budget traveler, this is the place. Good breakfast and nice clean rooms
We only stayed one night prior to catching a cruise ship but the hotel could not have been more helpful. Not only did they store our luggage for us after we had checked out, so that we could visit the sites in Istanbul before boarding our cruise ship, when we returned from our cruise they once again looked after our luggage all day before they organised a taxi/shuttle to take us to the airport. They also allowed me to use their computers to do an on-line check in for our flight home and print our boarding passes.
The room and breakfast were excellent and it is an excellent location. Cannot recommend the Erboy highly enough
The Sirkeci district is on the European side of the Bosporus, about a 10-minute walk from Sultanahmet (the historic city centre). Sirkeci Railway Station, once the terminus for the famed Orient Express, is on the district’s northern edge. There are many small to mid-sized hotels here, several restaurants, and a Turkish bath.
