Il y a de l'espace au pied du lit. Le déjeuner est très de base, du pain et des confiture. Il faut faire la file avec les nombreux touristes pour faire griller son pain. Les toilettes et douches sont correctes; propres et en quantité suffisante. Le service était bien, aidant et sympathique. En général, un peu cher pour ce que c'est. There is an other common space on the second floor, not very clean nevertheless. But for this price, it's really the best deal you can find in Singapore! There are even 3 iMacs and 3 recent computers with Windows 7\. Breakfast consists in bread, 3 sorts of jam, 2 sorts of cereals and milk. Coffee and tea is just for breakfast but hot and cold water is available all day. Good staff, dorms are a bit cramped due to lockers under the beds (in front of the door), beds are quite good with personal lamp and socket, but AC is managed by the staff, which means you have to go ask every time you want to change the temperature (on the first night it felt like North Pole...) Le petit déjeuner est cependant médiocre puisqu'il consiste à thé (une sorte) / café et pain / confiture et deux sortes de céréales. Les chambres sont un peu défraîchies, pas de rideaux, et ventilateur très bruyant. Elles sont plus souvent sales que propres. La literie est bonne et les placards fonctionnent parfaitement (ne pas oublier de prendre un cadenas sinon ils en vendent à l'accueil). Ladies may not feel safe walking around at night, as locals there have a tendency to stare at foreigners. First thing you notice when you arrive is a police billboard that warns of a series of thefts in Bunc Hostel. I forget the exact number, however it left an impression on me. Rooms are quite fine for the price. Beds are okay. Downside is that cubicles don't have curtains to offer an illusion of privacy. There's air conditioning (not turned on until after midnight) and a fan on the roof (which started making a squeaky noise on my fourth night, so it was turned off) Breakfast supposedly starts at 5:30am. On the day of my flight (9am) I hung around until about 6am, even checking the time with some of the staff, but they failed to deliver on time. Breakfast is just instant coffee, a sash of oatmeal, and bread with jam/butter. Upside is that you can eat as much bread as you want. Shower room is quite humid. Most shower stalls are to be closed with a curtain, which will fly around and flash everyone with your nudity thanks to a quite unhelpful couple of fans that are installed on the ceiling. The administration should really consider investing in some actual doors for the showers. Listen, you get what you pay for. The hostel lands somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. I still spent a tolerable couple of nights there. Do not stay here if you are a woman or Caucasian. This place is catered to Indian men only. We could not believe how rude and racist the staff and other guests were to us. The police have posted a sign in front of the hostel tallying the amount of thefts reported at the hostel. The breakfast is a bag of bread, when it runs out, that's it, no "brrakfast" for you. This was the third hostel I stayed at in Singapore. A pillow on my bed looked like it had never been changed with some clear stains. So i had to cover it with my scarf the whole stay. No standard needs like shampoo and shower gel the bathrooms. The only one wall-attached-hair-dryer in the girls toilet has really weak heat and no empty plug is provided if you bring yours. Not convenient if you have long hair.
