"Good points: Breakfast was a very good mix of cooked food, cereals, fruit, pastries etc with a decent coffee machine and juice. All help yourself. The swimming pool, while not large, was heated to a decent temperature and the same depth throughoutā¦good for kids. It could have benefitted from having a few hotel-provided floatation devices and the showers turned off very quickly, but the shampoo and shower gel provided were also decent quality. Bad/improvement points: Booked a room with a sofa-bed...
Sandford Springs Hotel & Golf Club
Sandford Springs Hotel & Golf Club"I have stayed here a few times before. This time I needed to be at a meeting early in the morning so arrived at 9pm in the evening. We went straight to the bar to have a night cap. Unfortunately they were closing the bar āin 5 Minsā so only got one drink in before it closed. Which means I had the curtains open to let as much air in as possible- not nice for a ground floor room that backed into cars. The electric...
"Overall: Good stay, but limited food options The breakfast here was really excellent ā fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks ā not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel."
"Spa is the worste ever.. Mould between the pool tiles.. Steam. Room. Door not working... In the room shower with mould... For. 4 stars is quite unexpected"
"The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even itās a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side."
