Features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a two-level garden, and a spacious veranda with panoramic views of the Aegean islands. Just a stone's throw from the main pedestrian street of Apollonia. The Space: This charming 110 m² house, along with a neighboring independent, detached second house, is set within a 1,000 m² garden filled with Mediterranean flora. Located at the higher edge of Apollonia, the picturesque capital of Sifnos Island, this property offers an ideal retreat of calm and relaxation. Its prime position provides both privacy and panoramic views of nearby villages and the Aegean Sea, yet it’s just a 5-minute walk from the vibrant center of Apollonia with its shops, restaurants, and bars, while a local supermarket is only a 2-minute walk away. A perfect setting for family holidays! Inside, the house features two comfortable bedrooms: a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and shower, opening onto its own private courtyard, and a second bedroom with two single beds that can be combined into a king-size bed. A second bathroom with a shower is also available. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped, and the tastefully decorated living room includes a dining table for eight and a cozy fireplace, all adorned with unique, traditional furnishings. Outdoors, a beautiful veranda with views of the Cycladic islands of Paros, Antiparos and Despotiko offers ample space and a dining table for eight, as well as an exterior shower. The protected courtyard at the entrance of the house on the back side— is ideal for enjoying calm moments on windy days. The Neighborhood: Although Sifnos is one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades, it has yet to be discovered by tourists. Its many picturesque villages, monasteries, hiking paths and clear water beaches are very well known in Greece. The island is also famous for its traditional pottery and delicious food. Apollonia, its capital, has lost nothing of its traditional charm. You are just five minutes away from many shops selling local jewelry and pottery, as well as clothing and home furnishing. The town also offers restaurants serving regional or broadly ‘Mediterranean’ food, and a great nightlife with a full range of cafes, bars and clubs. Kastro with its breathtaking views and Artemonas with its beautiful traditional architecture are two villages well worth visiting. The monasteries of Profitis Ilias and Aghios Simeon offer a panoramic view of the whole island from above. The famous monastery of Chrysopigi, built on a rock by the sea, is another must! You can swim in the crystal clear waters of the sandy beach of Apokofto, next to Chrysopigi, or visit Platy Yialos, Vathi, and Fasolou. Afterwards, lunch at any of the local tavernas found on every beach. There are numerous old paths that set out from this area towards the hills or the sea for those who love trekking.
