Property restoration from Hurricane Helene has been mostly completed but there may be some ongoing construction and other inconveniences depending on the period of your stay. Access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. Fisherman's Cove is a very rare Siesta Key condo where every unit has direct, unobstructed, full Gulf views. The building is one of the closest condos to the Gulf on all of Siesta Key. You could throw a tennis ball into the gulf from this Siesta Key beachfront condo! Located at Turtle Beach on the island of Siesta Key off Sarasota, Florida, this vacation home has the best of both worlds - the beach in front and boat docks with access to the Intracoastal Waterway in back. While not as powdery white as Crescent (Siesta) Beach, it is less crowded and great for collecting shells. NOTE: Because of minimal beach directly in front, access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. This unit is on the second floor, accessible using the elevator or outside stairwell. This unit was just upgraded by a professional designer. It looks amazing! It has been decorated and appointed in a “beachy” theme that includes all new furniture, furnishings, decorations, wall art, and more. This unit has tile flooring throughout. The kitchen is furnished with modern stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, glass top range and oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is well equipped including a range of small appliances. The dining area has seating for four and is right off the kitchen. The living room is well appointed with stylish couch and loveseat, large flat panel HDTV and an amazing view out to the lanai and the Gulf. The air-conditioned lanai has floor to ceiling glass sliders overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the beach below. The lanai is furnished with chairs and table to let you get comfortable as close to the water as possible. Sleep at night with the ocean surf right outside your window! The master bedroom has a bay window overlooking the Gulf and beach below. It has a king-size bed, large HDTV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a bunk with a full-size bed, twin above, and another twin bed, flat panel HDTV and a large window overlooking the bay and boat docks. The second full bath has a tub/shower combo. This unit has its own dedicated high-speed broadband WIFI. This unit also comes equipped with a full size washer/dryer. Boat docks are available for guest use at no extra charge!! Bring your boat or rent one after you get here. Keep it right at the condo all week long. (Note; trailers cannot be stored on site) Fisherman's Cove is located less than 25 minutes from Sarasota airport, 90 minutes from Tampa, and two and a half hours from Orlando. Tons of great restaurants and golf courses are nearby. Fisherman's Cove is on the southern end of Siesta Key at Turtle Beach and is very quiet and un-crowded. The view is to the west for spectacular sunsets! It's not unusual to be able to watch dolphins swim by in the Gulf from the lanai / patio. The only negative was the king bed mattress needs replacing. It seemed broken down on the right side. Owners were great to work with. Turtle beach is more quiet and less traffic craziness. Another reason we enjoy this property. It was clean, stocked with lots of essentials, and right on the ocean. Our sons were excited to discover the boogie boards and floats in the storage closet, and this mom loved the spaciousness of the laundry room for hanging our wet suits to dry. We enjoyed the pool and were thankful for the elevator option when transporting luggage to and from the car. The views from the lanai and master bedroom cannot be beat! Also, when we called to report an issue with the shower nozzle, someone came the very next day to repair it. The place was nice and had everything we needed, including so much beach stuff (like chairs, umbrellas, beach toys). The location was ideal and the trip to the beach was so easy. We absolutely loved our stay on Turtle Cove beach! We were very impressed with the condo and all the amenities it offered. Everything you would possibly need for your beach vacation was provided such as beach towels, beach chairs , buckets, & even a shark tooth sifter. All of the beds were fairly comfortable, with the exception of the king size bed in the extra bedroom which had a dip in it. The location is excellent and we loved being close to siesta key beach as well as a short drive from Caspersen beach (which we visited for shark tooth hunting). Overall, we would definitely return to this property. The only feedback I can think of is that it would have been awesome to have access to kayaks. ##### Jaime H. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs so that we could comfortably sit on the beach. The umbrella was broken so we bought a new one and left it behind. Slightly dated (not high end finishes, if that is important to you) ie. bathrooms and kitchen, but very comfortable and functional, and as I stated, well stocked. If you like sun, the pool area is ideal; if not, wait till later in the day and the shade will cover the shallow end. The mattresses could use replacing in a few of the beds (due to lack of support) but the overall quality and cleanliness of the unit was great. The location is ideal for short trips to dine out or shopping. This our first time visiting Siesta Key. We’ve looked at many condos and decided to give Fisherman’s Cove a try.. I’m so glad we did! Beautiful facility!! Beach and view was lovely. Pool was nice for kids. Condo was equipped with everything you could need for a week. Nice beach chairs and umbrella. Sunsets were to die for! You can tell it’s an older building but well maintained and the unit was remodeled and had all new furniture. My only complaint would be the bed in the master bedroom was very old and quite uncomfortable. The sand isn’t like siesta key beach but we loved the quieter pace of this beach and the fact we could walk forever in one direction and see few people at the busiest time of year. My family and I would definitely come back to this unit in the future. Property management company was great! Quick responses to all questions.
