The queen bed was so high that I could not climb onto it, and there was no step stool. I had to sleep on the bottom bunk bed and my husband on the couch. We were very uncomfortable, so left a day early even though we couldn't get a refund.We were also surprised that we had to pack out our trash. The town dump/transfer station was closed, so we had to drive our trash home with us. The cabin was clean and we noted the holes in the floor, mentioned in prior reviews. The kitchen seemed well equipped, (we didn't use anything) but the fire extinguisher was empty. No wash cloths provided but there were towels in the cabinet. (we took our own, did not use theirs). The toilet was less than standard height, another issue. There was a nice selection of movies, games and toys for kids and it had a quiet view out the back of the fishing pond across the street. ##### Cara O. This cabin is located across from a small fishing pond. The overall area is a lovely environment. You can enjoy small town restaurants and shops. Bison Ranch has a coffee shop wine bar that features live piano entertainment on Saturday nights. This was our anniversary and we enjoyed spending time in front of the cozy stone fire palace. Also, the cabin has a nice kitchen to prepare meals in. We can recommend this place and would consider staying there again. ##### Barry E. It is a great place to escape city living. The cabin had everything we needed. Our 4 and 6 year old caught their first fish at the catch and release pond across the road from the cabin! The kiddos loved the bunk beds and the closet FULL of toys. There is a splash pad across the way from the community to cool the little ones down on hot days. Their is a grill, full kitchen (with good pots and pans) and plenty of areas to have a picnic. I recommend bringing your own food and not relying on restaurants or take out. I also recommend bringing your own linens and towels for a more comfortable stay. We loved the cabin and especially loved that it was dog friendly so we could bring the whole family. ##### Kelly M. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air and community water view across the way. We ordered food from the local restaurant and it was so close we could have walked there. The kids bedroom was great with the bunks. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our breakfast and had everything we needed to cook. It was great for our little family and worked with our budget. The host was also extremely quick to respond when we couldn't figure out the AC system. If you want to go more into the woods, it's only short drive to the woods where we were able to find a nice spot and have a picnic.
