I was In Eugene, Oregon for the 2025 Eugene Marathon and had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Counting Z's.....What a GREAT EXPERIENCE.... Very convenient for travel from and to the airport - not need for a rental car as there are multiple bicycle rental stations for travel and exploring. From the onset, the Hotel Counting Z's has great street presence on 11th Ave with a short distance walk up High Street to 6th Avenue for Marathon Participant Pick up and transportation to Haywood Field on Sunday AM. Also, it was an easy walk up Oak Street to the Eugene Saturday Market. This made for a quiet and peaceful sleep before the Sunday AM Marathon... The Hotel Counting Z's has 3 stories with multiple common bathrooms per floor. The queen size room on 3ed floor was more than enough space and had a small closet and comfortable chair for relaxing...There was even a common kitchen and meal room on the 2en floor with kitchen and multiple coffee makers. The kitchen provided many opportunities to engage other runners Will look forward to another stay should my running roads takes me to Eugene....THANKS *****

My wife and I, enjoyed staying here. The staff were so friendly, and very helpful. The Hotel is very clean and convenient in walking distance, to shops and restaurants in the area it’s in.

Our family loved the location, the amenities were great, every staff member we interacted with were beyond pleasant, the room was very tidy, the renovations were great nothing about it felt like a "cheap" hotel, the riverview was so serene, the bed was comfy, everything was well stocked. I cannot compliment this hotel enough. We will definitely be returning!

This was a great spot to stay, and hands down our favorite of the 4 motels we stayed at on our roadtrip. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the building was quiet. We appreciated the charm of the building and its proximity to activities in town. We enjoyed how close it was to the brewery we ate at, the rose garden, and the dessert shop we found. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Eugene!
