    Bathroom: Bath, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot, highchair and stairgate. Balcony with outdoor furniture. On road parking (at cost 2nd March-30th October); unloading at the door. No smoking.. So close to Shanklin’s sandy beach that you can hear the waves, Lower Chine Apartment is a spacious, open plan apartment perfect for a family break on the Isle of Wight. Set on the second floor of The Adelaide, the apartment has an open plan living, kitchen and dining space, so there’s plenty of space to enjoy the views and relax.



    Step straight from the living space and onto the balcony to while away an afternoon enjoying the views across the beach and out to sea… and when the sun sets, it’s the perfect spot to sip on a glass of bubbly while the kids enjoy the flatscreen TV with Freesat.



    The master bedroom makes a welcome room to retreat to after a long family day on the sand, and with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom it’s a welcoming place to unwind. The second bedroom has a bright, airy décor and twin beds, so it’s ideal for the kids to nod off to dreamland after a busy day making sandcastles.

Lovely apartment great location.

Lovely apartment great location. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything and more you could need.Overall would recommend cosy and spacious.Only downside was no parking for Flat 6 but we managed just fine wasn’t a major issue.

We enjoyed our stay in this seafront apartment. Great location, at the quiet end of the Esplanade but close to good places to eat. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We brought basic supplies for our short stay but the fresh milk, tea, coffee etc which were provided were very welcome. Highly recommended- and think it would be perfect for a holiday with children too.

Great property on sea front.

Great property on sea front. Well equipped and clean apartment - had everything you could possibly want. Only minor point was description said free on street car parking in winter - speaking to a local they changed it last year so you have to pay all year round. Another person on the other side of the island hadn't realised.

Great apartment in prime seafront location

Well equipped apartment right on the seafront. Parking was easy on seafront or in nearby car park but payable as noted in the description. Nice pubs/restaurants nearby. Uphill walk or use the lift to get up to the town.

This is the second time we've stayed at this apartment.

This is the second time we've stayed at this apartment. As they say, location, location, location. We love it. There are lovely views of the sea and the balcony is sheltered so can be used into late autumn when we were there. Close to a couple of pub restaurants for drinks or meals (including breakfast and close to Shanklin Chine. Nearest food shops are in town at the top of the cliff so we shopped when we were out and about.

A modern apartment clean and simple but with all you need. So close to the beach. We bought a 7 day isle of wight parking ticket. The only thing not included is parking. Lovely apartment in a great location with every thing you could need right on your doorstep. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. The only thing that needs some attention is the shower, it could do with new grout and unblocking as the water is very slow to drain away and the tray fills up quickly. It would also be a great idea to have a cold tap in the car park to be able to remove any sand of children's feet before entering the apartment block. A fabulous flat for a stay.

A fabulous flat for a stay. Great sea view from the balcony & the lounge. Comfortable bed & the place is fully equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of parking whilst I was there, November, but having lived in shanklin in the past, I know how hard it is to park along the seafront in season, even in the 2 car parks, so worth bearing in mind if you don't like waiting for spaces. I would certainly stay again.
