Checking into the hotel, after being picked up at the (PVG) airport in a timely manner, was well-coordinated. Actually, easy. In the morning staff was not as helpful or responsive as one might wish. Hotel personnel allowed 'hack' taxi driverer to sit in the drive, at the front door,claiming to be the one ordered by the front desk for me. Only problem was that he demanded 20RMB more than the front desk person said the fare would be--a valet was 'in on it' and tried to hi-jack my luggage and put it into the taxi's trunk. I had to make a lot of noise before getting my luggage back. The hotel is run down and shows little resemblence with the photos on Expedia website. Breakfast does include some options but comparing to breakfast in the other 3 hotels I stayed during this trip, it's a joke. WIFI was out for the whole day, I had to opt to check out way early so I can use WIFI in airport.
