Shadyside Vacation Packages

I've stayed here a lot because it's affordable and you can get a smoking room. Usually it's not bad, you get what you pay for. This week long stay, the bed was only made twice and the floor was not swept AT ALL.

The accomodations were perfect for what I needed! Getting a bed with a kitchenette too for the price is a steal. One note: the amount of messages from the property managers was kind of intense. I had multiple threads with multiple staff members on email, text, and Expedia, all sharing the same information. I definitely got what I needed, but I don't think I needed dozens of texts to tell me how to check in.

Booked this for the pool and central location. It was great to be inside swimming around, watching all the people coming & going from PPG arena, lol! The hotel is close to everything, a short walk (highly recommend The Speckled Egg in the Union Trust Building. Delicious brunch and coffee, wow!) or you can catch a bus to explore further out. Hotel is clean, nice room. Got an upgrade with living room, it was gigantic! So very nice to spread out. Fairly quiet for being downtown. Friendly staff. ++++ for the cookies!

Rooms were clean, staff was excellent and pool was awesome. Elevators during our stay broke; we were actually 4 of the individuals stuck in it for 5-7 minutes. Breakfast is minimal, and non complimentary. No complaints otherwise. Close to airport and convenient

Customer experience should be prioritized over additional charges. If bottled water is not complimentary, it would be better not to place it in the room, as it can create confusion for guests. Similarly, breakfast should ideally be included in the stay, and if not, the pricing should be reasonable and provide good value. Small gestures like these go a long way in creating a positive guest experience.
