"I think the President Hotel is an ideal choice for a short stay for anyone visiting Athens for the first time and wanting to immerse themselves in the city. The hotel is conveniently located, with the nearest Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop roughly 10–20 minutes away, while the metro station is also within easy reach, making it relatively straightforward to get to many of Athens’ major attractions and historic sites. The hotel itself offers plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the staff. Everyone, from the front-of-house team and porters to the restaurant staff and cleaners, was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. There is a clear sense that the hotel is very well managed, with the staff working together to create a welcoming and well-organised environment. Overall, the President Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Athens, particularly for first-time visitors. Credit should certainly go to the management, as the professionalism and attentiveness of the entire team are a real reflection of how well the hotel is run."

"This apartment/hostel was clean, well designed, well maintained and close to public transports and other amenities. The only issues we had during our stay were mainly the communication and lack of staff on site. The check-in time was 3:00 PM and despite sending messages through WhatsApp, their website and through Expedia we didn’t receive anything from our host until we reached out to Expedia and they contacted the host and after that we received check-in instructions and access code at around 4:30 PM. The fire alarm in hallway went off in one morning and continued for almost 2 hours and no one was there to respond/reset it until we left the building for our scheduled tours. Generally, the building is okay, but the idea of not having any staff and reliance on online communication was not ideal at all."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cabo Verde. We were there in the beginning of the Fall off-season so our experience was probably different from others' who come in the peak summer and early Fall times. We found the hotel peaceful and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast area and outdoor area plus pool look right out at the sea. And there's always a warm coffee or cold beer available a few steps away. The rooms were also clean and well-maintained for the most part. There were a few minor areas where the wear and tear were visible, but nothing that really impacted our stay. The area around the hotel had plenty of dining options, even after the peak season was over, with a nice variety of traditional Greek foods, seafood, cafes, and bars all within easy walking distance. We also had no trouble getting cabs locally or to take us back and forth to Athens. Overall a great experience and we hope to go back someday."
