Log cabin within walking distance to so many fun amenities. Great cabin for a family! Two bedrooms with king beds, two full bathrooms, and bunk beds in the upstairs loft. Both bedrooms have 40” flat screen TVs. Cable TV and high speed wireless internet throughout cabin. The upstairs loft has a pool table. Have family movie night in the living room with the large 42” flat screen TV, comfy leather furniture, and cozy wood burning fireplace. Free firewood is provided during your stay! Relax on the back deck in the hot tub or on the rocking chairs. Charcoal Park Grill & Smoker. Dogs are allowed for a pet fee of $119 per dog.

Smoky Mountain Rain is located in Little Valley Mountain Resort where you have access to so many great amenities that are included in your stay! There is an outdoor pool, putt-putt, four stocked fishing ponds, par 3 golf, four hiking trails, patio fire-pit, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, badminton, batting cage, horseshoes, disc golf, playgrounds, and picnic tables. All these are included in your stay at no extra cost! The resort office is located on the resort where you can find all the equipment needed for the amenities. We even provide fishing poles and sell live bait at the office. DVD movies available for rent. All the fun stuff is right here at the resort!

When you venture into town, you are only 5 miles from the main parkway. Just minutes from Dollywood, Gatlinburg, outlet malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! There is an easy drive to Cades Cove from the resort that will avoid all parkway traffic. This cabin is in the perfect location to feel like you are secluded in The Smokies, but you are still close to all the attractions.

We rented a cabin right by the guest check in Cabin. Our cabin was perfect for our family of five, we have three kids from 8 to 11 years old and two miniature dogs that joined us. Bedding was provided and the mattresses were nice and firm, which fits are body preferences. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The hot tub on the back deck was a huge hit for our kids since spring break still bring some cooler days! The heated outdoor pool was a lot of fun for the kids but still a little chilly in the first week of April. We really love the front porch swing for morning coffees and afternoon relaxing. We took some hikes on the property and enjoyed those, the kids really loved playing in the waterfall which was only a half a mile hike, the water was cold but was not flowing fast at all so they could take their shoes off and catch some fish, crawdads, salamanders, and frogs! The fishing ponds were a lot of fun, we brought our own poles and when we checked in we got free worms in a tub from guest check-in! We would definitely come back to this beautiful Oasis away from the chaos of the downtown strips of Pigeon Forge (15 min drive) and Gatlinburg (35 min drive). There are several alpine slides, feeding goats on the roof, mini golf, grocery stores, Pizza place and a country store, the list goes on, all within 10 minutes! The only cons I had with our stay was the washer did not ring out the clothes well so it took longer to dry them.

Family cabin get away

We liked the cabin resort since it had included activities (pool, put put golf, fishing, basketball, hiking trails, etc). On hind site we wished we would have spent more time at the cabin and did less activities in pigeon forge, gatlinburg etc

Overall a great property. Convenient location and quiet. Beds were a little hard but nothing a mattress topper didn’t cure. The upstairs was very hot also, but a fan helped too. We will visit again for sure.

Nice Cabin: Needed some things.

The cabin was nice, but there were several things that needed to be addressed. The downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush, the upstairs carpet had dog hair all over it, the washing machine wouldn’t draw water, the bunks weren’t made upon arrival, many of the outlets didn’t work, the water heater wasn’t functioning properly, the dishes smelled very dirty, the shower squealed when you ran water, and the balcony railing was very loose. I don’t think I would rent this one again. It did not ruin our stay in East TN though.

The community & area was very appealing with all the amenities- Putt putt, ponds, playgrounds. The cabin was cozy & enjoyable. The space seemed a bit tighter than the photos (4 adults, 17 & 7 year old on our party) but overall nice. We were disappointed that clothes washer was broken during our stay (we were encouraged to use local laundromat) so I’d just pack accordingly if that’s an important amenity to you.

Great family trip! Cabin was stocked and very clean. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy! The secluded woods on the property a plus! Very close to the pool, putt putt, fire pit, playground and fishing ponds so it was a quick walk to enjoy everything. Highly recommend!!

Cute cabin

We loved this cute cabin! The fireplace, pool table, and hot tub were a big hit! It is located at the bottom of the hill so we were glad we did not have to drive through a lot of small roads up the side of the mountain. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and even had all the grilling essentials. It has a charcoal grill on the deck so bring your charcoal. Some firewood was provided but bring extra. There was plenty of towels provided. Some minor things we noticed but were not deal breakers: a couple jets did not work in the hot tub, the cold cycle did not work on the washing machine, and washing machine/dryer is small so if you plan to wash clothes you will do multiple small loads.

Great Base Camp for the Smoky Mountains

I’ve always wanted to see the Smoky’s fall colors, what better year than this year, while the kids and my husband are all working remotely, the WIFI worked great. My husband worked out on the back deck. The cabin was clean, quiet, and a perfect size for two adults, two kids, and two dogs. We even could of fit a few more if needed. We loved the grounds. Great for walks and entertaining the kids. The cabin’s were a quick drive to pigeon forge, as well. The relaxing area Metcalf Bottoms Entrance of the park is near too, and I recommend. My only change would be a gas grill vs a charcoal grill, only because of the preference of simplicity. Awesome get-away thank you.

We loved our stay

Stayed a week for our anniversary and we loved the cabin. Between sitting on the porch with a morning coffee and in the hot tub with some evening wine, it was perfect. Loved too how close the cabin was to the amenities of the resort, especially the fire pit, which is a great set up, and we didn’t have to compete with white-knuckle mountain drives to get to it. Cabin was very clean, well stocked, and everything we were looking for. Would definitely consider a repeat visit.

Beautiful views, excellent location

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again in the future! Our cabin was conveniently located by the office and swimming pool, so we were able to walk to almost everything on the resort. The cabin was clean, very well taken care of, had decor that made it feel like home, and plenty of amenities to get us through the weekend. It is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and attractions, while still feeling secluded from the busy lifestyle. It took us about 10 minutes to get to Pigeon Forge and 30 minutes to get to Gatlinburg. The swimming pool was a great temperature and a great way to get a break from the heat. The hot tub at our cabin was a nice way to relax in the evening after the days activities. Overall the cabin exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful experience.
