We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect since it was right between everything we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Like how they decorated for Christmas and LOVED the fireplace and bear decor. We cooked almost every night and had no issues with the kitchen items or the BBQ Grill. Could use some updates (such as better TVs) and additions (such as hangers) but overall it was an awesome vacation.

Mostly good
Pros: very clean, nice size and space inside, nice to have 2 bathrooms, all appliances work including good washer and dryer, very fast internet, comfortable bed, all needed supplies included (toilet paper, towels, etc.)
Cons: pet friendly but difficult to walk pets or allow them to potty, air conditioner VERY LOUD, have to drive up some tenuous hills to get to the cabin, deck needs some repair and staining, remotes don’t work for tv in bedroom or upstairs, blinds in master bedroom fall down and are a hazard.

Mice problem
Bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Refrigerator needed to be wiped clean. Listing should mention something about the hairpin turns your vehicle will need to make in order to get to the cabin. Had to put our truck in 4 wheel drive twice. We drive a large truck. Got woken up the first night with scratching noises by the front window and all up the wall. Got woken up the second night with the same scratching noises but this time in the bedroom closet . Could possibly be mice in the walls. Will not stay here again.

Below Expectations
This cabin is located in a nice area and the property manager was very friendly and responded to all of my messages in a prompt manner.
Unfortunately, this cabin did not live up to a "Vacation Rental" We have been coming to Tennessee for 10+ years and have left 5 star reviews at every cabin. This will be unfortunately the only time we were not pleased with our stay.
First, this cabin is not located where the listing map shows, instead, it is right in Pigeon Forge. If you want to be close to all of the craziness of Pigeon Forge, this cabin is for you. We do not. The area the listing shows is VERY different then where this cabin actually is. We prefer a cabin that is a little more away from all of the traffic and aggravation Pigeon Forge presents.
The cabin was generally clean, but everything was run down and old. The hot tub is on an open deck with no cover and is VERY old. We did not use it based on the condition of the cabin, as we were not sure the proper maintenance was performed to prevent bacteria. They provide you with minimal kitchen supplies, and a lot of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. We booked an 8 day stay and were provided 2 trash bags, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher pods and no cleaning supplies. This is not how you treat guests on vacation. The last thing I want to do on vacation is have to go shopping for amenities that should be provided in a vacation rental. If we were paying bargain prices per night I would understand, but for what we paid, this is unacceptable.
Finally, and this may be out of the owner's control, but the cabin floor shakes A LOT when the AC turns on. Standing in the kitchen or sitting in the recliner chair is not possible while the AC is running.
We do not like leaving bad reviews, but we go on vacation 1 time per year and love to relax and hike in the Tennessee mountains. This was not relaxing, and it was a dread to come back to the cabin.
If you are looking for a place to crash and sleep, while enjoying what the area has to offer, but not spend much time in the cabin, then I would recommend this rental; however, if you enjoy relaxing in a hot tub, cooking your own dinners and sitting in a cabin without worrying about every little thing going wrong or being dirty, I would look elsewhere.

Nice but no TV
Only complaint we had was TVs had no instructions of how to use. Complicated procedures! Also, down stairs bathroom very difficult to use, toliet to get up and down.was too small, too low, and hard
Enjoyed our stay! The cabin suited our needs for our family. Was nervous because of mixed reviews but I was pleased no complaints at all. Be aware of surroundings we were able to see a mama bear and 3 cubs just down the driveway which was exciting. Talked to friendly neighbor on mountain down from cabin which told us about a drive up waterfall and we did that and made some more memories there with pretty pics. I would stay here again!
This cabin is definitely in the mountains! The half mile road that leads up to it is twisty and steep. The cabin itself is nice. It is pet friendly which was really nice, however, there isn't much space to take your dog out to go potty. There is a steep drop off right off the driveway since it is on a mountain so you have to walk up the steep road to find some space to take them. I did find old dog poop in the cabin under a nightstand and under a couch as well (I was plugging in the alarm clock that had been unplugged). Some guests must just let their dogs roam when they aren't there, as there are also scratches along the door.
Otherwise, the cabin was nice. The hot tub was nice but I was disappointed that you don't have a view considering you are on a mountain. The trees are too tall to see anything. The air conditioner made a loud rumbling when it was running which took some getting used to but not a deal breaker.
It has a giant master bed and two pull out couches so there was plenty of space. My son enjoyed the pool table! It took us about 20 minutes to get to Gatlinburg due to traffic or about 10 minutes to get into Pigeon Forge. Overall, we were pleased with out stay.
This cabin was very disappointing and overpriced. First, it was not clean. There was a bug in the kitchen sink and shower upon arrival. Called customer service the night we arrived about cable television and never got a callback the entire weekend. Air conditioner vibrated the floor like loud drum playing. Several pillows had no covers. The cabin has not been kept up well and did not seem clean at all.
The cabin was in a great location to travel between all the attractions and things todo in the area. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Not very clean
I appreciate that it was dog friendly since I take my small poodle with me when we travel, but the dog hair from previous renters was everywhere, even on the wrinkled sheets on our bed. There was a lot of dirt in corners and just under the furniture so it was easily seen. The water or drains (could never really determine) was horribly stinky, like rotten eggs. The cabin could be a great place to stay if only some deep cleaning were done.
Five nights of relaxation and peace, punctuated by snow and sunshine made this a perfect getaway. The cabin was beautiful, well supplied, and comfortable. We would definitely choose this rental again.
