Welcome to Cove Mountain Cabin and to the Smokies, where fun times and adventures await for you and your family! Cove Mountain Cabin can be your home away from home while you are here enjoying the rides, shows and nature. Located in Wears Valley near the GSMNP and Foothills Parkway, Cove Mountain Cabin is just a short 15-30 mins drive to enjoy all the events offered in the Smokies! This luxury cabin is beautiful as its natural surroundings. With the north entrance to GSMNP just five minutes away, our guests will feel the pull of the mountains and all that it has to offer! The property itself is surrounded by the stunning mountain views but without the mountain drive! The property is far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet but only 5 mins to the Foothills Parkway; 5-10 mins to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (GSMNP) via the Metcalf Bottom north entrance - a well-known picnic area and a short nature trail; 10 mins to Townsend; 15 mins to Pigeon Forge; and 30 mins to Gatlinburg. Wears Valley is in the center of it all, a convenient location to everywhere with close-by shops, stores, cafes, and restaurants. The cabin has a wrap-around deck to enjoy the mountain views, an extended lower deck for hot tub and more views. It has a game room and an infrared sauna in the lower level of the main cabin and a newly added game room and theater next to the main cabin for kids and kids at heart to relax, unwind, play, and bond. Free weights and yoga mats are also available for our fitness conscious guests. Our location is ideal for morning walks and appreciation of nature's beauty, while at night, family and guests can gather around the fire pit area to roast some marshmallows, trade stories, and just relax - weather permitting. We would love to host family vacations, family reunions, family & friends getaways, and couples getaways. Pictures are not updated yet to show the new game room and theater room but you and your family will have a great time hanging out in this space. Please read our previous guests review of the fun they had in this space. Please note that this is an absolutely NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO MARIJUANA USE property within 25 ft of all the entrances. We also DO NOT ALLOW PETS due to allergies and asthma of our own kids and possibly of other guests. These House Rules are strictly enforced and penalty is applied. You will be responsible for any and all remedial and deep odor removal. LOCATION. Our location is great! We're just two short turns off Wears Valley Road/Rt. 321 to the peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Cove Meadows Drive. Roads are paved, no steep hills or winding roads to drive through to enjoy mountain views. There are nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and stores within minutes from the cabin. We also provide complimentary pool membership (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and an access to the year-round catch and release fish pond for our guests to enjoy. THE SPACE WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP The following sleeping arrangement will sleep up to 12 maximum. That includes all the adults, infants, and kids that will occupy all beds. We set our maximum occupancy to 14 guests only to prevent the space from getting too tight for everyone and to minimize wear and tear which will help keep our space beautiful for guests like you to enjoy. Free washer and dryer in the unit (You have to buy your own laundry soap and softener). An iron and some hangers are provided. The game room and theater were the best! The location was a little farther away but a worthwhile trade off for the amenities. The house backs up to an amazing mowed lawn that has to be 2-3 football field big! A downside was that the lower level could hear every step someone took above. The pool that is a little down the road was very small (maybe 4 lanes) and very crowded when we were there in July. It was clean and nice. Taking away one star because of being woken up when someone in the floor above was walking. ##### Rebecca C. We were not disappointed with this cabin and location! We had plenty of room to sleep and relax, a game room with something for everyone's taste, and a pool table that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also loved the sauna and hot tub since the temperatures were quite cool curing our stay! The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy, and it was very quiet. The cabin itself was just perfect! She had everything that we needed and then some. The only thing we had to buy was groceries because everything else was provided!! I really did not want to leave the cabin at any point it was so cozy abad home-y. Aside from the breathtaking views of the smoky mountains, the host was so sweet and attentive. Abigail was in contact with me since the moment I booked the cabin offering so much information and suggestions. Before checking in she was so kind and walked me through everything and even during our stay she was checking in and just being super attentive. I am just so grateful for how organized and near the whole process was. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Already thinking of when I can come back! lol thanks again!!! ##### Lainy M. The kids and adults in our group loved the game room, hot tub and theater room. We enjoyed an evening by the fire roasting s’mores as well. I really loved that the game room area was separate from where you slept. The beds were very comfortable as well. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!! We had a relaxing and wonderful time here!! Our host Abigail was very responsive to any questions we had while on our trip and went above our expectations!! Great to work with. The most well stock kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental. Loved the coffee bar. Communication was excellent with any questions addressed quickly. The accommodations are roomy and the cabin is in fantastic condition. Hot tub, sauna, pool table... There's a separate game room packed with 3 classic video game machines, ping pong, a movie room... Thank you. The neighborhood was peaceful and the close proximity to Pigeon Forge and Smokey Mountain National Park was the icing on the cake. We had a mobility challenged person in our party and loved that the beds were a little lower and the main floor and the game room were on the same level. The wrap around porch was the highlight for evening activities. The game room was so much fun and and the movie theatre was perfect to relax after enjoying all the hikes in the area. Abigail, the host, is extraordinarily responsive. She communicated with us everyday to ensure our stay exceeded expectations, and it did by far. The location was everything promised and more. Our family enjoyed the game room and theater room, especially. Everything was in perfect working order and laid out thoughtfully. Not once did our boys utter the words, “I’m bored.” A tremendous “win” for us, and anyone who knows what it is like to have boys. The accommodations were comfortable and furnishings exquisite. The beds were premium, the sheets felt new, the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, and the peaceful scenery was therapeutic. I cannot say enough good things about the cabin and its owners. Location of cabin was beautiful. And easily accessible. We arrived in snow and ice and we were so thankful that this cabin was not on top of a hill or we would not have made it up there. Situated minutes from wears valley and did not take long at all to get to pigeon forge. Cabin was so clean and had everything we Needed. Game room was an extra bonus. Loved the theater room. Kids actually said they wish we would have had a day to just hang out at the cabin. Games, hot tub, sauna, arcade games, big hill in the back yard and beautiful views. We will definitely be back. Abigail was so nice and accommodating. She checked on us daily and answered any questions we had and gave us some great recommendations on food and activities. Thanks for sharing your home with us. The area was lovely and easy to get to so many activities in the Smoky Mountains. When we were not shopping, trying fun restaurants, tasting wine and cider, we were back at the cabin playing card games, enjoying the awesome Game Room, theatre room, sauna, and hot tub! There was something for everyone (our ages ranged from 25 - 64). We also enjoyed the fire pit outside.
