The drive up the mountain is a little steep, but you get used to it after the first day. Our first day we had a tree fall and blocked the driveway to the house. We booked this cabin for our yearly Thanksgiving family vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped with every necessity to create the at home cooking results we needed. The 5 bedrooms accommodated our family with lots of space on all three levels. The mountain and Wear's Valley views are just spectacular from this location!!! We loved our stay at this cabin. We've been to the area many times and this was by far the highest quality cabin. The only negative was that there was not 360 degree views as advertised. There was only a view from one side (and that view was stunning overlooking Wears Valley.) The view is slightly obstructed now from growth in front of the outlook decking (it is clear in the listing picures) but still amazing. ##### Angie L. It was one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever seen for a rental. There were a couple os small repairs that were needed when we checked in, but maintenance came quickly and resolved the issues. The only drawback was that the hot tub didn't work. It kept kicking off the breaker, and we never got to use it, which was very disappointing. Other than that, it was an awesome stay! ##### Regina M. The side boards are knotty and painful to get in and out of. The air conditioner had difficulty cooling the whole house. There were not enough towels. We had to buy extra more so we could use the hot tub. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor so we were doing a lot of stairs, not advisable for seniors.
