Shagbark Resort is close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Located in a 24/7 guarded entrance community, the resort offers pickleball, basketball, tennis, corn hole, pavilion, disc golf and a pool (Memorial Day - Labor Day). There is also a walking trail, a small playground, and a creek to check out. Please have your driver's license and car pass (provided once booked) ready to check in at the guard gate. This cabin is in the Smoky Mountains and the roads are paved except for a small gravel portion on the top. As there are a few very steep areas of the road, please use caution and avoid motorcycles and trailers. We encourage guests to arrive before dark. The roads are maintained in winter by the resort, however, there can be snow/ice, therefore, 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended in the winter months. Cabin parking spaces include 2 large vehicles OR 3 smaller/medium vehicles. Your booking includes car passes for 2 vehicles. She communicates effectively. The house is well represented in the description/photos. The views are spectacular. We spent a lot of time in the chairs on the little balcony taking it all in. The house itself is comfortable with a well appointed kitchen; it feels clean and bright. It’s a great use of space with a lot of little extras like robes and spa towels for the hot tub. The kids loved the movie theater. The beds slept so well that my sis-in-law asked for the brand! The only issue we faced is someone had used all the shuffleboard silicone and sand and housekeeping seemed to have cleaned it rendering it unusable. Nicole was quick to communicate and work to see what was possible. We never did the drive up at night, but I think that would have been tough! The price you pay to get those views. Thanks for sharing the house - we will be back! ##### michelle e.
