Our only encounter with anyone while we stayed there was with a remarkably large and fluffy raccoon that seemed to have outsized expectations for its own ability to convince us to break the "Do Not Feed the Wildlife" rule. We stood firm. Absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a genuine experience of a mountain retreat without the chaos of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. ##### Rachel C. We loved drinking our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains and the fireplace was AMAZING for the chilly mornings! The hot tub was clean and nice to enjoy after a long day of hiking (there is also great hiking trails right down the road). We will definitely be returning again soon!
