The primary bedroom boasts a luxurious king bed, nightstands, a Smart TV, a long dresser, and a freestanding wardrobe for extra storage. Each of the two guest rooms is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, nightstands, a dresser, a Smart TV, and a standing wardrobe, ensuring everyone has their own personal retreat. For some fun and nostalgia, head up to the loft area, where you’ll find a Pac-Man arcade game, a cozy rocking chair, and a desk and chair – ideal for those who need to get some work done while on vacation. The convenient laundry room features a stackable washer and dryer, as well as a high chair and mini crib for families traveling with little ones. OUTSIDE: The expansive deck offers a variety of outdoor seating options, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. Guests can unwind in the spacious hot tub or gather around the wood-burning fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. A propane grill, with propane provided, is ready for grilling up your favorite meals. POOL/FISHING: During your stay, you'll have access to a seasonal community pool and a serene catch-and-release fishing pond. The pool, open from May to September, is located just 6 miles down the road in the picturesque Wears Valley. Typical pool hours are from 10am to 6pm, while the fishing pond is usually open from dawn to dusk. Please note that hours may vary depending on the season and weather conditions. We do not have control over seasonality, operating hours, or any temporary closures due to maintenance. STARTER PACK: Guest will be provided with a starter pack that includes toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, a small dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods. Please note that this is a standard starter pack and guests will need to provide anything beyond this, should these items run out, as durations in stay vary. CABIN ACCESS/ROADS: Nearly all roads to the cabin are paved, except for a short 1/8-mile gravel stretch that connects the main road to our subdivision. The drive to the cabin includes a few turns along the gravel road before continuing up a wooded, paved mountain road. There is a brief uphill section near the cabin, but overall access is straightforward. If arriving at night, please pay close attention to road signs, as they may be harder to spot. For winter travel or during periods of heavy rain, snow, or ice, we strongly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Please refer to the photos for a visual of the gravel road. PARKING/DRIVEWAY: There is plenty of parking for 3 vehicles, but you may be able to fit more depending on the size. Our driveway has a moderate incline that will require 4x4/AWD in snow or icy conditions. Please refer to photos for a picture of the driveway. LADYBUGS: Fall and spring are prime seasons for ladybugs and beetles in the Smoky Mountains. You might spot them around the cabin, both alive and deceased, especially in sunny spots like window sills and doorways. While our cleaning crew and pest control service work diligently to minimize their presence, you may still encounter a few, particularly during ladybug season. We kindly ask that you refrain from killing them, as it can cause them to release an odor. Instead, we recommend using the handheld vacuum provided to gently remove them. WELL WATER: Our cabin uses well water, which may occasionally produce a sulfur-like odor. Please note that refunds will not be provided for any sulfur smell in the water. We don't recommend drinking the well water. INTERNET: We offer reliable Wi-Fi for our guests to enjoy during their stay. However, please note that inclement weather can sometimes cause interruptions in speed or connectivity. Hot tub was very clean and up to temp upon arrival. Bedrooms were spacious and clean with plenty of storage; bathrooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of towels, linens. The area was gorgeous while we were there, and we enjoyed seeing a bear visit nearby. Sunrise was breathtaking and the evenings by the fire pit were relaxing. Plenty of shops nearby and loads of activities. We highly recommend a scenic drive through Smokey Mountain State Forest, the Alpine Coaster near Goats on the Roof, and Hilly Billy Miniature Golf in nearby Gatlinburg. ##### Karen C. We loved everything about this cabin and we will definitely be back to enjoy its beauty again. It was clean and cozy. It was well stocked and every detail considered for kitchen needs, including food storage containers. There were signs to help with just about any need. (On the first night I couldn’t get the hot tub to warm up and there was a sign to walk me through it.) The host was quick to respond and helpful. Hot tub is large, looks brand new. We enjoyed it all from the swing and rockers on the porch to the hot tub and fire pit. It’s very hidden which adds to the appeal. No extra toilet paper in downstairs bath and we had to provide our own. Low water pressure day 1\. Shower was like a light rain. Discovered outdoor faucet running full force and back yard was flooded. Turned it off and water pressure normalized. Only 3 face cloths and 3 towels per bathroom were provided for 4 people for 4 nights, not enough to have a clean facecloth everyday. The drive is crumbling and has two deep holes a truck cannot avoid. The cabin is beautiful, but overall needs repairs at this property. ##### Kim H. I wish we couldve stayed longer! Great cabin, very clean and comfortable. We have twin 8 year olds and they loved the game machine and hot tub! We relaxed in the hot tub for awhile and even had a cute little visitor! We named him Ricky Raccoon! The hot tub was kinda chilly and we couldn't figure out how to warm it much but still enjoyed it for a bit. Did not reach out to the owner bc it was late and we only used it that once.
