➣You are in the woods and will see bugs, bees, scorpions, millipedes, lady bugs and all sorts of critters. We have the cabin on a strict pest control schedule but it's impossible to eliminate all bugs.  
➣March through August is Carpenter Bee season. You may see dozens of them boring into the side of the cabin. Don't panic, you're staying in a log cabin in the woods after all!  
  
\[EASY PAYMENT PLAN\]  
➣1st payment: 50% required up front  
➣Final payment: 35 days before arrival, collected automatically  
  
\[SECURITY DEPOSIT\]  
➣A security damage deposit of $500.00 will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 4 days before check-in  
➣This is a hold on the credit card and will be released 2 days after checkout   
➣If the credit card charge fails then the guest has 1 day to provide another form of payment before the reservation is cancelled  
  
\[RENTAL AGREEMENT\]  
➣A Rental Agreement will be sent for signature after booking.   
➣Failure to sign the Rental Agreement will result in cancellation of the booking  
  
\[CANCELLATION POLICY\]  
➣Our cancellation policy is as follows:  
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.  
➣All refunds will be subject to a 6% processing fee

If I could, I would give this home a 4.5\. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The host was wonderful. The only issue is that there was a sulfur smell in the bathrooms. This may be typical of the water system in the mountains. But it was a great trip!

The overall setup nice, between the decorations, the house itself, and the way it was furnished. The house was appealing to look at and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Sitting in the living room with the fire place and even the screened in area were great places to just chill. The kids enjoyed the game room as well.However, somethings to note, the water smelled like sulfur so showering wasnt enjoyable, and one of the bathtubs didnt drain. The upstairs bed mattress needed replaced and the comforters were all dirty (so we washed them which made the house stink). We were not told the code to get in and there was no cell signal at the house. Luckily it was related to me so i was able to guess what it was. There was not any coffee even though we were told it was provided. Being huge coffee drinkers luckily we came prepared with our own. Overall it was okay, stayed in nicer, stayed in worse, but for the money we paid each night we would try another place before going back.

Small details throughout the house need attention. Lightbulbs out or inopperable, screened porch plastic was ripped, poor curb appeal(house looked unkempt.) Large cardboard box on front porch and didn’t look like gutters have been cleaned in a long time. Laundry room/washer had a mildew smell. Dishwasher was leaking. Very slow drain on the upstairs tub.
