Tucked into a luscious garden, you have a well apointed and cozy semi-detached room. The space is great witu all the basic amenities and is only a short drive to the center of town. All the grounds were covered in beautiful trees and flowers. The whole landscape was so awesome I could sit there all day and never get tired of taking it all in. They have a dog, chickens and cats. We’re definitely coming back. The grounds are so beautiful- the photos don’t do them justice! It was peaceful and serene and the perfect place to relax. The internet didn’t really work inside the unit (and there’s no cell service there), but I understand they’re working on that and it’s not permanent, and luckily we had brought books to read anyway, so it wasn’t a problem. I only mention it in case it’s important to someone and they want to confirm before they come. The other thing is that the bathroom is actually outside the Loft- the door is locked and it’s private, only for use by guests of the Loft, but it is located in the shared foyer and you have to go downstairs from the bedroom and out of the unit to reach it, which could be problematic for some. Everything was perfect….from the beautiful landscape, the welcoming hosts-Susan & Kevin, the adorable Mascot-Lucy, the comfortable bed, the fun board games, the detailed amenities, the close proximity to town (while still feeling like you were swept away to a far-away land). I really can’t say enough! We enjoyed visiting Dungeness Spit nearby, as well as Olympic National Park.
