Thanksgiving Getaway

We stayed with our kids & extended family in Sedona for Thanksgiving. The space was ideal for our group of 8 with plenty of room to have fun or enjoy quiet time. The location was perfect with access to shopping and hiking nearby.

Beautiful home near all hikes, restaurants, and downtown Sedona

The home has huge windows that let in lots of sun and spectacular views; the hot tub works and it was fun to sit in while it lightly snowed; the whole family enjoyed the pool table and putting green! Host responded promptly to all questions.

Beautiful Sedona getaway

The property was beautiful. Incredible views, amazing pool and jacuzzi. Decks everywhere overlooking red rocks. Very comfortable home and accommodations in a perfect location south of Sedona so you can avoid the Sedona traffic.

Perfect house for 6 adults friends - plenty of room, stocked with everything you might need. The pool, hot tub and deck are amazing! We didn't bother with a star-gazing excursion because the views from the house were AMAZING! We would go back in a heartbeat!

Stunning views, great house

This house is very comfortable with incredible views from the balcony and just about every window. There are beautiful hiking trails a short walk from the house, and many more a short drive away. The house had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for our family and friends to gather, relax, and spend time together.

Doodlebug Reunion

The Doodlebug house was a great place for our group of friends who has not seen each other in a few years to get together. We found it clean, comfortable, and the landscape is beautiful. There were ample supplies for us to cook ourselves. Check in and out were easy, and the hosts were very accommodating when we made a last minute request to have the pool heated. Would recommend!

AMAZING

I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay in Sedona! My husband and I went with 2 other couples and had the best time. The house is spacious, comfortable and has everything you may need. The outside is a dream! We spent so much time in the pool and hot tub, we weren't able to take advantage of the large game room. Guess we will have to come back :) The owners are friendly and helpful.

Perfect Family Week in a Great Location

We loved this house. The view is just amazing from both inside and out and the house had everything that a great VRBO property should include. Kitchen was stocked with all the gadgets plus the owners included a lot of immediate need items like TP, paper towels, napkins, spices and more. Beds were super comfortable and great bathrooms that were well stocked. We spent 5 days here and did poolside some days and others in Sedona or touring around. Did the Pink Jeep tour, which was fabulous! But our favorite part was putting on music at the end of the day with cocktails and food and hanging on the deck for the evening enjoying the sunset and night view with family.

Perfect family getaway

I surprised my husband for his 70th birthday. Our 3 adult kids came and we pulled off the perfect surprise. The house was absolutely wonderful for us. The first night we were all together we played games in the game room. The 2nd night we were all on the main floor enjoying our family time together and the last night there we took family photos at sunset and then stayed out on the beautiful deck and enjoyed the stars. It was a perfect trip for us all. The house couldn’t have been better.

Fabulous house in Sedona!

We just finished our week long stay. What a fabulous house! The views are stunning. We enjoyed the deck every night as it would be shaded by 5 and the breeze helped with the warm temps we had that week. The pool was delightful - nice place to congregate after morning hikes or activities. Please be aware though there is a stone path to get down to pool so might be difficult for some to walk down to. The house was amazing equipped from shampoo in the bathrooms to coffee. The kitchen had all we needed to cook . But the view was the highlight!!! We would definitely stay in this home again.

Great location and setup

We really enjoyed our stay at the Doodlebug house! We had a group of 8 adults and the house comfortably held all of us. It was very clean and had lots of great amenities. The views from the decks are absolutely spectacular and were worth the stay alone! The pool area and putting green were a lot of fun. We didn't really use the game room but it looked like it would have been fun as well. Location was great. We felt like it was easy to get around Sedona from where we were. The neighborhood was also quiet at night, which made stargazing enjoyable, and seemed very safe. There were a few things around the house that could use a slight repair but nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the property. The hosts were very responsive when we ran into a minor snag. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends.

The View Is Everything!

The property is fantastic! As advertised. The AC ran a bit warm but it was HOT while we were there. The auto locks didn’t work when we arrived but prompt communication fixed it within 10mins. The patio is absolutely everything - we spent most our time there. The outdoor portion of the property needed some TLC but we enjoyed our stay! Kitchen was great with a large island. About the walk down to the pool at dark - just watch for scorpions and black widows which is definitely common for the desert. Just keep your phone light handy! But the outdoor space at the pool is great, complete with kitchen area and restroom!

We were amazed at the beauty of Sedona and the vacation home. The big windows allowed us to see the view of the red rocks surrounding us at all times. The host was always readily available. The private pool area was an oasis to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. It truly was the perfect vacation home!!!!

We had a great stay at this home. The views were beautiful and made it a really relaxing place to spend time. The location was perfect—easy walking access to nearby trails and very convenient for getting to everything we needed in the area.We also appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, including plenty of soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent, which made the stay even more comfortable.The home itself was quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for.That said, a few areas of the home and some of the furniture could use a bit of TLC to bring everything up to the same standard as the rest of the experience. Overall, a lovely stay in a great location with incredible views.

Very well equipped with the staples (paper towels, tp, Kleenex). Quite clean. The hosts were extremely responsive which is great. Everything was as described. We didn't use the hot tub (didn't see the chlorine to put in but also didn't have the time) but enjoyed the pool area (needs golf balls!) and the pool. Highly recommend this property!
