Located close to downtown but to get there its not a quick walk due to how the roads are . Lots of stairs . My concern is where the room is located in the building. It is not a hotel, but rather an a extended stay guest house for a younger, more athletic clientele, who could drag heavy luggage up two flights of stairs. As we are two 78 year olds with heart conditions,it was not a good match. The room itself was clean and comfortable if very spartan. There was a $47 cleaning fee that made our one night stay more expensive than any comparable hotel. There was an inordinate amount of paperwork for a hotel, paperwork that seemed more in line with an Airbnb. Still if you fit their demographic, I would recommend it. The room where we stayed was on the third floor and there is no elevator in the building. It would’ve been nice to know this upfront before we booked. So this is not very friendly to seniors who have to carry luggage. We also had trouble getting into our room due to a problem with the key code; also disappointing. We had to call property management to get the key code reset in order to get into the room. Additionally, the guest were required to provide a Roku stick or a Firestick in order to access the TV. We have never encountered this before and any prior hotel we have stayed in. Again, it would’ve been nice for us to be notified prior to booking.
