I learned that air conditioning is not common in Seattle (lol)---and it was warm when we visited. The host did provide fans and the location does not get much direct sunlight which helped to keep the space more comfortable. The location is close to many cool sights and experiences in Seattle. That being said, it could be a little loud at night (restaurant on the bottom floor, 2nd Avenue is a busy street, and the location of the apartment is closer to an intersection with a stop light). The host was considerate and supplied earplugs and eye masks to help counteract those factors.
