THE SPACE
Our one bedroom unit is brand new, beautiful and clean. It's a 600 sqf lower level unit with own private entrance, living room, modern kitchen, master bedroom with a full closet, a large relaxing bathroom with a tub, and a stacking washer dryer in the unit with detergent provided. The french doors lead out to a covered patio with lawn chairs for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful Puget sound views. There is a fully fenced in backyard with various fruit trees and Japanese Maples.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with high quality Hotel Collection sheets. There is plenty of closet space with hangers, extra bedding, blankets, and pillows. Our sleeper sofa can easily be turned into a queen sized bed with bedding provided.

The sleek, modern kitchen is beautifully designed with white cabinetry, glass tiles and quartz counter tops. There is a full-sized refrigerator, 4 burner cook top, oven, microwave and vent. It is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals during your stay including pots/pans, cooking utensils, plates, kitchen gadgets, coffee maker, hot water electric kettle, Brita water filter pitcher, blender and toaster. There is also an assortment of teas, coffee, and basic cooking spices.

Super fast fiber wifi with 4K Smart TV which includes Cable, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, and many other channels to relax and enjoy. There is a Blue Ray DVD player.

All furniture and furnishings are brand new.

The bedroom and living room are heated by In-floor heating. There is shared central air conditioning throughout the entire house.

There is a brand new high quality Bosch washer and dryer with detergent and laundry basket provided.

This family friendly unit is also perfect for children. There is a tub for baths as well as children's plates/cups/bowls and silverware. There is even a sand table in the back yard. There is a local park within walking distance. Children's items including a stroller, portable high chair, play yard, infant bath tub, toys, books and movies are available with advanced notice.

GUEST ACCESS
We are a family of four with two school aged children and reside on the top two floors of the house. We can be reached if needed.

There is plenty of street parking. The garage and driveway are reserved for our use.

There is a private entrance that is accessed through the side gate to the right of the house which leads to the lower level. A code will be provided to you for the keypad lock. If arriving at night, there are motion sensor lights on the side of the house.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Both my husband and I were born and raised in Seattle and we absolutely love our city. Seattle is a major metropolitan city yet there are so many opportunities to enjoy nature like hiking, kayaking, and skiing.

Gatewood is a great centrally located neighborhood which makes enjoying local Seattle landmarks convenient. We are less than 10 miles to Downtown Seattle, Pike's Place Market, Space Needle, and International District. We are also not far from other suburbs in King County including Bellevue, North Seattle, South Seattle and Renton.

There are many great places to visit in West Seattle including Alki Beach, local restaurants and wonderful parks. We especially recommend restaurants like Salty's on Alki (NW Seafood), Buddha Ruksa (Thai), Bakery Nouveau (French bakery), Ma'ono (Hawaiian fusion), La Rustica (Italian), Mashiko (Japanese), Endolyne Joe's (American - family friendly), Cafe Luna (diner), Marination Ma Kai (Asian Fusion), Circa (American) and The Swinery (Burgers/Meat shop).

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We live upstairs and can be reached if needed. I give my guests space but can also be available to give suggestions of local cuisine, sights to see and ways to enjoy our beautiful city.
