Things I didn’t like, it was a basement unit, and always cool. No way to control the temperature ( that I could find) in the unit. The only parking is on the street. The unit is fine and I’m sure the hosts are great people. We had issues with the tenet living above accusing us of smoking in the apartment. We were called twice by Expedia for this reason and threatened with fees because of it. There was no smoking on the property. After that we didn’t feel welcome or wanted in the space. Another thing is the basement is a lock off with flimsy doors so you can hear everything going on upstairs. I messaged the contact and received a reply that they”might send the housekeeper” to check it out. I sent a return message saying I thought it was pretty serious and maybe a different professional than a housekeeper may need to address it. Reply was “have a good night “ After an uncomfortable night unable to use the living area or tv,I messaged again that we were checking out due to”health and safety concerns “ and requested a refund for the second night which we had payed for but we’re not using. The reply was a denial and that “we had denied the housekeeper access “. I replied that we had not and no one had come by. Suddenly I realized I had been attempting to communicate with AI. Which explains why I was getting inappropriate and nonsensical replies. Ruined our Seattle trip, had to come home early and now must battle Hotels.com and others (AI also I suppose) Good luck if you choose to stay there.
