Nice property that was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Easy walk to Pike Public Market and from Westlake Light Rail Station. The hotel decor was a little quirky, but nice enough. Our king size room was a bit small, but big enough for our needs. The doorless shower in the bathroom was a bit odd and the lack of vents made the bathroom too steamy to use immediately following a shower. When we booked our reservation, this property was one of the lower priced options in the 4-star category and I would say that it was a good value for the price we paid.

Honestly I've never experiences such a great staff. They were kind and personable with every engagement and we felt so taken care of. Highly recommend.

Cute and comfortable
Beautiful hotel with a comfortable bed, really nice bathroom products, and a cute decorating them that’s well executed. They put thought into things like outlets for plugging devices and there was a clawfoot tub in the bathroom and even a yoga mat in the closet. The location was just on the edge between cool and the dodgy area but I was never worried, coming from NYC. The hotel bartenders were also friendly and had a heavy pour. Oh and I got the Ricky Gervais pillow.

We appreciated the character-feel of this hotel and especially the warm, enthusiastic, and thoughtful front-desk staff. They left a fantastic impression on us. We were however a bit disappointed with space being smaller than expected and not as clean as that of another Kimpton hotel we've previously stayed at.

Hotel is in a good location, short walk to Pike's. Staff was friendly. Room was a little small w/ no coffee maker. They did have coffee in the lobby, but would prefer it in the room. Bed was comfortable and it was fine for one night.

The staff were kind of nice. It was mixed. For instance, some were really nice. My 29 year old daughter had trouble with her thermostat. She called the front desk and they told her they had a card of instructions if she wanted to come get it. It was 3am and she asked if they could just talk her through it. Once both parties realized she forgot to put he door key in the special slot to turn on the rooms power, the front desk person hung up on her. Our room stunk like a barn. They painted the wardrobe and bathroom door and used rancid paint. Yes it happens due to anaerobic bacteria. But obviously the paint crew did not care. It was not natural gassing off, it was bad paint. Finally, they use barn style doors for the bathrooms. In every room I entered, the bathroom doors did close properly. If you are going to use something, hang it correctly.
