We were warm and comfy, and enjoyed being able to walk to all the great stuff in downtown Ballard. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sole bathroom is downstairs, and the stairs are fairly steep, which could be inconvenient for nighttime bathroom runs. We felt safe with the handrail and treads but something to consider if this affects you. My small dog was welcome and we enjoyed the fenced yard and the mudroom (very convenient for drying a wet dog). ##### RK P.
