Beautiful room, very welcoming staff, one block from Powell’s Books. The only negatives were the limited parking spaces in a tight garage and the homeless and mentally ill people in the vicinity

I don’t even know where to start. It was so bad that it’s funny. I called the front desk on my first day to ask if they would allow my Ubereats delivery to be delivered to the door since I would be starting a zoom call around the time it was scheduled to arrive. She said yes, as long as someone could watch the desk. A simple request with a simple solution. I asked the next day and they told me they couldn’t because of safety issues… I told them that this wasn’t an issue prior and they accused me of being dishonest! I tried do this again the following day, but they refused. I travel extensively, and this has literally never been a problem especially in the morning when there are multiple people behind the desk. The last day I went to the breakfast buffet literally no one was there. Not at the kitchen, not at the bar, not in the restaurant. There was a man blasting TikTok full volume on his phone so I went over to ask him if he had headphones or if he could turn it down, and he got really upset. So upset that he came over to my table and started to scream at me… I kept asking him to leave me alone but he refused. I started screaming to leave me alone and he finally left. Nobody came to investigate. I went to the front desk to let them know what happened and they did nothing. They said they would check the camera, but I don’t know what purpose that would serve. Call me crazy, but there should always be staff present. I would write more, but I’m out of space. Good luck!
