This is our second stay here and we had a good week.

This is our second stay here and we had a good week. We were a little concerned as we noticed a review about the heating being controlled remotely and we were staying in January. Overall it worked well for us as when we felt cold we boosted the heating with the electric fire. We don't have our heating on at home during the night at any rate and so the bedrooms were not a problem for us, although the extra blankets provided were very useful. The only suggestion I would make is that a torch would be useful (we could not find one) as we were there during the storm and we had power problems in the evening on that day. Thankfully we had a torch in our car. Value for money was OK, but we have noticed out of season accommodation is creeping up steadily, which along with booking charges can be off putting.

Location is what drew me to this property and we weren’t disappointed.

Location is what drew me to this property and we weren’t disappointed. We used this lovely place as a base and went both up and down the coastline visiting lovely places and beaches. The beach house is comfortable and when you look over the houses in front of it the views are quite spectacular. We saw an amazing sun set from the lounge. Seahouses itself is a great place to stay having plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Had a fantastic trip to the Farne islands saw seals, puffins and many other species of sea birds.
