"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, cute cabin for a last-minute father-daughter getaway. We spent most of our time out on the lakes fishing and paddleboarding. It was fantastic that the cabin was pet friendly. The area was peaceful overall. There were a few neighboring dogs that would bark during the day, and occasionally some loose dogs around the neighborhood. Our dog is a little reactive, so we were a bit concerned about unexpected encounters, but thankfully we never had any issues during our stay.The walk down to the water is beautiful, but be prepared for a bit of a hike. The trail is uneven in places and can be a little swampy, which wasn’t a problem for us, but it did make carrying kayaks down to the water a bit challenging. A few boards were broken and felt a little sketchy to cross while carrying kayaks. Once you get to the water, it’s absolutely worth it. Lots of wildlife around the area and had a beaver swim past our kayaks. The channel is gorgeous and incredibly peaceful to paddle through. We had a great time fishing and caught plenty of smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and northern pike throughout our trip."

"This property was exactly what we were looking for…a quiet place to get away from a busy lifestyle. We stayed here for a couple days while exploring Ludington. Stay here if you are ever in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Great communication from the host as well. If we get back to the area we will definitely stay here again."
