It was in a picturesque area and nice and quiet. The hot tub was a lovely touch after a stressful year to relax under the stars. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and Netflix was a great bonus. We spent New Year in the Ye Olde Forge Valley pub which had good food and lovely hosts and was a short taxi ride away with a local taxi company but book ahead as he does get very busy. Sue was lovely and friendly and happy to help with any questions we had and gave us info on places of interest. Great location as a base to explore the area. Sue is a wonderful host and will help make your stay an enjoyable one. The property was lovely and maintained to a high standard and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Like many of her previous guests we will be contacting Sue when we are again visiting the region. The local pub was great and less than 10 minutes walk away. The cottage was in a lovely location with great views as well as being a good base from which to visit other places.
