Surrounded by stunning countryside between the North York Moors and the coast, this large house has amazing views and space for all the family, including two furry family members. It’s in the perfect spot for beach trips and exploring the area, then you can come back and enjoy the hot tub, open fire, gorgeous garden, and BBQ.

There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus added extras, at this pretty, detached house. There’s plenty of room for preparing meals in the kitchen/diner, it has an island, a wine cooler and ice machine, then eat together in the dining space. Patio doors lead to the conservatory, perfect for a nap or sitting with a good book. Relax in the living room, stoke up the open fire, and watch your favourite TV show; there’s also a downstairs WC. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two doubles and two twins, they all have TVs and the two doubles and one twin have a DVD player, there’s also a lovely shower room and a bathroom. On warm days, sit outside soaking up the views, have a BBQ, enjoy drinks and meals al fresco, and relax in the hot tub listening to your favourite tunes on the Bluetooth pop-up speakers.

Go into Scalby village (1 mile) to pop to the shops and pubs or carry on into Scarborough (4 miles) and spend the day on the beach, visit the shops at the harbour and watch the boats come in, take the kids to the Sea Life centre and Alpamare Water Park. Grab the leads and head out on pretty walks with the pups to explore the North York Moors. Visit Forge Valley (7 miles) for beautiful woodland and river walks, explore Dalby Forest (7 miles) on foot or by bike where the kids can Go Ape.
