Two screened porches, a fire pit and winding brick path through the trees create a sense of quiet retreat, while interiors pair warm woods, soft neutrals, and inviting textures with views that blur the line between indoors and out. Just minutes from Lake MI’s shoreline and Sawyer’s markets, breweries, and trails, the setting balances natural escape with easy access to everything local. THE SPACE Inside, the main gathering space centers around a Tuscany-inspired wood-burning fireplace framed by cathedral ceilings and rich wood floors. French doors open from the living and dining area to a screened porch with a peaceful view of the woods. The kitchen pairs unique character with purpose, offering treetop light and seamless flow to the living spaces. Another set of French doors leads from the family room to a larger screened porch, which opens to a deck with sweeping views ideal for unhurried meals and long conversations. Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed with its own personality, one bright and cheerful with golden tones and floral art, another grounded by rich colors and a handwoven rug. Downstairs, a playful bunk room features a Murphy bed, slide, and whimsical touches perfect for little adventurers. You see the forest through every window, the living space with fireplace is warm and cozy and we appreciated the separate TV room. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen is great. A beautiful serene setting. SO peaceful. Love the house - three bedrooms each with their own bath. Our grandkids loved the yard with swing and play house with slide. The screened in porch is awesome. And the front porch was a favorite spot on the porch swing. We saw deer regularly, which excited the grandkids. 7 years & 5\. SO many extras provided too! TP, paper towel, salt & pepper, dish washer pods, even Q tips in the bathrooms. I definitely recommend this property. We brought along my daughter and son-in-law and two kids. And my 92 year old mother. 7 of us on this trip. Only downside is the climb up either the steps or brick path. Unloading was challenging but packing up was easier. Thankfully my Mom gets around well and was able to navigate the hill ok. We definitely got our exercise. Oh almost forgot, the fire pit is awesome. We love bon fires. Had one each evening. Wood is provided and there was plenty of kindling that was fun to gather.
