It is less than one block from the center of town, and walkable to various bars, restaurants, galleries, etc. It has all of the necessities for a comfortable stay in this Hudson Valley town. Please Note: This is a mid-1800s home with authentic character—including weathered exterior paint and a few quirks that come with its age. It’s not for those seeking pristine new construction, but ideal if you appreciate personality, history, and a touch of imperfect charm. The location of this house is great; only 5 minutes from the show and a very short walk to the main strip in town. Finding the house at night was not easy because it was dark and I couldn't see the house number. And then I accidentally parked in the wrong spot (neighbor's spot) but he happened to be awake and told me where to park. That was really the only part of our stay that could have gone more smoothly, but other than that, everything in the listing is accurate, and Steven, the owner, was great to deal with. Not sure Google Maps has the address right but we found it through trial and error. Parking and check-in was easy and the kitchen was cute and well stocked - it even had espresso, a Moka pot and a couple of travel mugs. The beds were super comfortable and had fluffy duvets, soft blankets and plenty of pillows. Big plusses!! The only thing I would stay is that it wasn't super warm but there were space heaters and these kept us cozy in the main living spaces. ##### M. C.
