The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.

The first room they gave us smelled horrible!!! There was no way anyone could stay in there. Went back to front desk and eventually we got a different room, otherwise they were going to send housekeeping to spray smelly room. Second room was better. Couple mayflies squished on the floor that wasn't taken care of. 4 or 5 more dead ones on windowsill . I realize these pests are all over in June, but no one wants them in their rooms. Do better! On the plus side the bed was pretty comfy and the breakfast was good. We have been coming here for years, not sure if we will be back. For the room rate I expect better.
