It's like staying in your own hotel room except better because he provides coolers, beach towels, great beach chairs and literally everything you need for a fun, beach vacation. The room was SPOTLESS. And I'll also add that the kitchen area was well stocked with everything you might need. He also gave us excellent recommendations of things to do which was fun. He was respectful of our privacy and generous with everything he offered us. And the bed, sheets and pillows were so comfortable. I’ve stayed on and off the Key, at many different places, and Terry’s place is perfect for 1-2 people wanting to stay off the Key. One of my favorites. Less than 2 miles to the beach. Probably walkable if you’re ambitious. Definitely bikeable. If you have a car there’s space for that too. I liked that it’s separate from the house.. has its private entrance and no shared walls. I believe the garage separates this unit and the house. The bed was comfortable (that’s important!), the bathroom has a hair dryer, and a few essentials you may forget. The kitchenette is nice for simple food prep.. do not plan to cook unless it’s microwaveable. I greatly appreciated the fridge of water when we arrived & snacks! Such a nice touch! We loved that there are beach chairs, beach bag, coolers, & umbrellas. Super nice to have when you’re flying in and can’t bring those things. The gift card to the Clever Cup and fresh flowers were a bonus!! I will most definitely see if Terry’s place is available next time I come to Siesta. He gave excellent recommendations on activities to do in the area and suggestions of places to visit which were all great.
