The private pool is seasonally heated during the cooler months and is 35ft long, meaning you’ll have plenty of space to splash around in. Worried about sunburn and insects? Not a problem – the area is fully screened and shaded so you can relax in peace and comfort. Once you dry off, you can enjoy a light lunch on the lanai – which benefits from a dining table and overhead fan – or cook up a feast with family on the dedicated grill. When the day is done and it’s time to turn in, we have a wonderful selection of cozy bedrooms to offer. Both master and second bedroom benefit from king-sized beds and walk in wardrobes, (with a en-suite bathroom for the former). The third bedroom has two lovely twin beds, which are impossible not to fall asleep in. More than 6 of you? Not an issue – the living room sofa folds out into a ridiculously comfortable double bed, for that extra couple. As well as fresh bedding, we also provide all towels (with extras on-site), so all you need to think about is what bed to claim! Parking is no issue either, as there is space for two cars on the driveway, as well as a further two in the double garage, which has both an electric external and secure internal door for easy access after a long day out. The space also doubles up as a utility room, and includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and a dedicated drying area. The house is in a convenient location and close to many of the nice restaurants and attractions in Sarasota.On the second Monday of our rental we woke in the morning to find rat droppings throughout the kitchen and living room floors and on the living room furniture. We called the property manager, who in turn called an exterminator. The property manager offered to send someone to clean the home, but we had already cleaned everything. The exterminator came the next day, he concluded traps needed to be set to catch the rats. He sent a different team out on Thursday. We found a few more droppings another morning so we cleaned and sanitized the two rooms again. Each time the exterminators came to set the traps, check the traps and take away the dead rats, we had to be there. Since the traps were not checked daily, there were times the smell of the dead rats, in the garage and from the kitchen air vents, became very unpleasant during the third week.Truthfully, it was a very unnerving and, we felt, unhealthy experience. Knowing that the rats were in the kitchen wall and garage attic and not knowing if they would be coming out at night did not make for a relaxing experience.This is not the way we were hoping to spend our vacation. VRBO and the property owner did refund a portion of our money, but all things considered we felt the amount was inadequate. ##### Julie H. I asked that grass/weeds be cut 2nd day.. Was cut the day before we left. Fence is secure for dogs. The outdoor table needed painting. The dining table top was warped. The master bath toilet wouldn't flush correctly - needs to be replaced. Had to call plumber after1st night there, but it just wouldn't flush well after that. We had to stop using it.Appliances, washer, dryer, air conditioning all worked well and it was nice to have a garage. Nicely stocked kitchen. ##### Sharon L. Lido beach is one of our favorite beaches and it’s an easy short drive from the house and restaurants and stores are nearby. Beds were a little too firm for us, but at the end of the day with beach and swimming pool, the family probably could have slept on anything. Dishes have to be rinsed well for that particular dishwasher. No beach towels and no coolers, but we bought a cooler which we left at the house for future tenants. Oh, if the water spicket had just a 5-8 ft hose to rinse off the sand from legs and beach amenities would be nice. ##### Angela R. The privacy fence kept the traffic noise along Riverwood Road to a minimum and we were able to park two cars in the garage.
