I had a room on the top corner overlooking the street and it was spacious and nice. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is traditional Japanese style, with a couple of options to choose from. This hotel is very dated and it smells terrible. They have a room for smoking. Yet the entire hall way smells like mold and cigarette smoke. Every night we rushed through the halls to get to our rooms. Thank goodness we brought fragrance spray to help our room with the atrocious odors. As for management, the manager is extremely racist and rude. Aside from his egregious racist attitude, he refused to give us extra pillows because I have neck pain issues. They weren’t any help with Yamato Transportation. Every hotel we have stayed at in Japan (Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Tokyo) have assisted us with Yamato Luggage. This hotel was the exception. We had great experiences at every hotel in our trip around Japan but this hotel!
