AtlanticWindow - Modern House, Stunning View

The island of Pico, and in particular Santo Amaro, in addition to the land of the grandparents, has always been the family vacation spot. Here we grow, we build boats, learn to swim, to fish and to live with nature.
The desire to have their own space here, a house where they could revisit the past, rest and enjoy the city from the room, still well guarded and genuine, just materialized years later. The houses, built with modern lines, but with the use of local stone both outside and inside, are designed to take advantage of the great location.
The sea and the Pico Mountain, neighboring locations, and across the island of S. George, part of the view. Outside, remained the tradition of stone walls with different heights and routes fit any space.

Little piece of heaven on the water!

This house has the most beautiful views from EVERY room. You can also walk to one of the nicest restaurants on the island. It is a bit far from airport but the drive is breathtaking so it goes by in a snap.

We realy enjoyed the perfekt House and the Island of Pico. The House is great and we had everything we needed. The View is fantastic and it was very hard for us to leave.

We spent just under a week at the house and loved it. Having dinner on the patio with an amazing view and the warm setting sun was just so relaxing. It was a short walk down to the natural swimming pool - a great place to enjoy the afternoon after a hike. We would definitely recommend this house. Helena was wonderful and very kind to accommodate our delayed arrival.

Fabulous view

This house is all about the beautiful views from every room! The ocean, garden, farmland and city light vistas are stunning. And then you get a great open kitchen, living and dining floor plan, plus three comfortable bedrooms. Just perfect! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Breathtaking view

What a beautiful property! Perfectly location for privacy and ultimate relaxation, and well located for day trips and restaurants. The house has huge doors/windows that open to the gorgeous ocean view and of Sao Jorges. Enchanting! We had a lovely time!

Morning rainbows

We had a wonderful week at this home and exploring Pico. The views are stunning and almost every morning there was a rainbow. Helena was very helpful with ideas of must sees and restaurants. All of which were great. It was nice to be able to walk to Magma restaurant when we were too tired from hiking to cook.

Home in paradise

The home was beautiful and comfortable for the four of us. You will need a car for your trip but exploring the island is well worth the expense!! Helena was absolutely amazing and accommodating with helping us get our luggage from the airport to the home and back again. We hope to get back sometime to check out the different seasons and take time to see the different islands as well.

Heaven on earth!!!

The property is absolutely lovely and well appointed. It is easy to cook because of the utensils and bowls, etc. The view from the kitchen makes cooking time a joy. The beds were comfortable, and the views as you wake up are amazing. We spent a week at the house as part of a month-long vacation. This was far and away the best location of our trip. We hope to come back in the future.

fantastisch huis met geweldig uitzicht

Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.

Absolutely great residence in a quiet environment

Great property with views that are simply incredible. A bit away from any shopping, so buy your groceries on the way in from the airport. A rental car is a must. Our hostess, Helena was wonderful and provided a list of wonderful restaurants and other items. The property was very clean, modern, and well equipped. We enjoyed our occasional conversations with the owners via WhatApp. Highly recommended to all visitors to Pico.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Haus liegt malerisch gelegen. Ein Ort an dem man entspannen kann. Wir haben 16 Tage dort verbracht und die Aussicht auf das Meer und die wunderbare Natur genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist uneinnehmbar gelegen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und Küche ist fast ein wenig zu üppig. Hilfreich war auch das housekeeping, die gute Seele Helena. Thanks Ruben

What a great home! It has everything you could want and ask for while staying here. If you're unsure, just book. You won't regret it. The two sisters who own the property put so much love and care into this home. The real star is Helena, she also cares for the property. Helena was there after a tough travel schedule upon arrival, checked in throughout the stay, recommended great places and events taking place and during checkout to make sure we were happy with our stay. A lovely home with a gorgeous view

We stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house, access to hiking, easy drive to other parts of the island, and a terrific swimming area very near by. The house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels etc. Being near the ocean and in a warm climate there were a number of spiders and other small insects as one might expect in that climate and with being a country home. Three weeks on Pico was a bit more than we needed as it is quite quiet but there was easy access by ferry to other island, which was great. All communications were easy and quick.

Beautiful Inside and Out

We had three couples in our group and the house accommodated us well. The house was just as pictured, it was comfortable, very clean and had all that we would need while we were there. Maria was available to answer any questions we might have. The views from the house were spectacular, it was easy to relax on the back porch all day and into the evening. Inside, the house was decorated very smartly and provided a nice space to gather for a meal and conversation. I highly recommend the Atlantic Window!
