Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi
External doors to balconies on Lowe level floors could not be locked, staff seemed lost to resolve, 3 rooms later it was resolved. People partying on balconies well past 3am in the morning. Extensive building work ongoing next door - avoid at all cost.

Very reasonable hotel for the price point; I would stay again. Good shuttle service from/to airport - better than others I've used at GRU. Very good dinner buffet for a reasonable price and breakfast buffet quite good too. Check in and out times are very reasonable.

Ramada Encore Centro (Tiradentes)
The hotel was fine. A few places to eat right on the same block. Train station one block away, and the Train system was pretty easy to navigate. The area isn’t as sketchy as it looks from google street view. A few homeless around.
